Do u know if u have to do all 5 hours or whatever time it was in a row for the time thing or can I just save the game and the hours just stay as is? Sorry if I make no sense
It only counts your clear time for Chapter. It will add all the clear times for every Chapter on that difficulty.
Make sure you're using the correct booth. Weapons are the left phone, accessories on the right, and characters are at the lone phone. Hope that helps.

For those who say it doesn't work, keep these in mind:
YOU NEED THE PREQUIRED HALOS TO UNLOCK. Most people seem to skip this part. If you have the Halos and you input the commands correctly, the item will be in your inventory/costume list.

The phone that he shows in the video is the phone booth you HAVE to use. You can’t just go to any of them so that might be why it’s not working
When you unlock a new character you have to go to "New game" to make the game actually let you use them.

@AdamDrewBleeker The music isn't gay. It's a remix of a Frank Sinatra song. The flowers the panther leaves is a reference to Okami, and also happen to have skulls on them if you look. The suckers are an innuendo. She summons DEMONS through her hair that utterly annihilate her enemies, actually EATING THEM on several occasions. The halos are meant to look like rings from Sonic.
Tip for anyone reading this and owns this game: Once you get the ice skates, USE THEM AT ALL TIMES! You'll be immune to some fire hazards.

@@kozukiangel5248 if you attack an angel 5-6 times with odette the enemy freezes in a giant ice Cube. Plus you go faster with odette.

modification with Sai-Fung equiped. To do this, once you
have unlocked Sai-Fung, you need to go to the Gates of Hell,
select Rodin's Treasures and purchase Umbran Elegance
#4. Then you equip Sai-Fung, go to Items and select UE #4.
UE's also exist for Durga, Kulshedra, Odette, and Lt. Col. Kilgore.
Berker- Climax Bracelet basically makes each punch and kick you do into the witch weave big hand big fist normally at the end of a combo. So every punch and kick you now do with this is super powerful. I like it alot! The weapon Rodin is my first set up and my second is Lightning Durga with Climax Bracelet. Makes the game very easy. At least on normal setting. In order to get Platinum ticket you need at least 10 mil halos.
You can play each chapter individually to improve your time record until you get the global chapter time record under 3 hours (I just made it, barely, by like a second, but still made it)
Even if it means sacrificing combo score and run when there's not a barrier stopping you.
Finally did it! You can input the codes slowly :) never knew that.

@JATOGoTHEoGREEN They did a lot of stuff like that. Some of the makers also worked on Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, and if you notice Rodin often makes jokes referencing those games (most notably "Whaddya buyin?" like the merchant in RE4). Also, when Luka meets face to face with Bayonetta and thinks she's gonna kill him, he references four girls that would be disappointed, and each one is a character from another game the devs worked on.
There are some grinding techniques that help speed the process up dramatically.
WARNING TO ALL NINTENDO SWITCH USERS!!! the switch version seems to have switched up some code, Pillow talk is now( ^^^^ dddd LRLR O )instead of X also the jeanne code doesnt work on switch it is now ( ^^^^ dddd LR LR Jump) they probably switched up more as well . Im guessing they did this so you couldnt just search up the codes? but yea

o yea finaly this climax brace makes everyting easy thank you man :D
to anyone asking "where is it" and so on, when you enter the code, if you have enough money, you will be handed the weapons/accessories/costumes instantly, you don't have to go to the shop to get it. so if you didn't get it, either you entered the code wrong, or you don't have enough after all.
Stand still while holding the R1 button, then hit Triangle.
the xbox version: (I just did it so you can't say it doesn't work unless you didn't do it right) up, up, up, up, down, down, down, down, left, right, left, right, and press B. Enjoy!c
Ya the movement on all the cheats are the same, they just end with a different button :)

Keep replaying chapters until you get it (I'm doing it right now, I lost the count but it requires 100 chapters completed)
Be warned, chapter plays (and replays) for this only count from normal difficulty onwards.

in Chapter 2, after Verse 3 onward on any difficulty, walk around the plaza from Verse 3 outside of combat and stand in front of left telephone by the stairs and input "Up, Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, LB. the Xbox 360 version only requires 3 million
for Jeanne, it's harder to activate witch time.
gotta dodge at the last second. infinite climax mode isnt that hard if you know what attacks to use against certain enemies.
witchtime is a last second dodge wow you are dumb!
@tuganoidax I can keep it charged for about 8 hits, so short and sweet should probably be your combo style. You can also dodge offset charge it, as long as its past the first level charge (the first little sound effect it makes when charging). and np for the tip!

You do need SAVE data immediately cos your unlockable accessories will be always there until you press buttons for codes but if you do not save data, you wouldn't able to see your unlockable accessories anymore,
Anyway, if you do press buttons into the codes with PS3 or Xbox 360 unless you have one, after all 3 millions will reduce like -1 millions = 2 millions halo when you will see that on right top above.
Haha Rodin is awesome! 360 turn + kick does the claw spin and fills your magic way fast :D

Hold R1(don't know the name of that button on Xbox) and stand still then press triangle (Y on xbox). As for the bracelet of time, I have no idea why it wouldn't unlock.
They work well, when you hear a litle song it means it work

Complete 100 chapters means complete 100 chapters. For instance, you can do the prologue 100 times and get the Sai-Fung.
the codes worked for bracelet of time and climax brace while I unlocked the others normally.
although I cannot unlock jeanne or zero using the codes, are the codes for those two correct? I've already tried numerous times but it doesn't seem to work on them. I even tried farming 10m halos just in case jeanne's halo requirement was a typo and it was 10m instead of 1m but still didn't work.

I play the pc steam version using a controller
nevermind found another guide and got them both. for those who are having the same problem there are 3 phones in total, 2 near the car under the staircase and another at the other end of the plaza. use the far away phone booth to unlock the characters. the other two phone booths are for the weapons and accessories.
@mikethedragonslayer i have no idea what you're trying to say, but if you have the right amount of halos and you enter the code properly, the cost of the secret you're trying to unlock will be deducted from your halo balance instantly and you will have the new item in your inventory. If this doesn't happen, you're not entering the code properly or you're using the wrong phone booth.

@@billyball4127 if i remember correctly you get a notification and it gives you an LP and then you have to go to the gates of hell so rodin can give it to you
As soon as I said that, I got it lol. It’s a fun but weird weapon, it gets her voice high and gives low combo scores even with the climax brace.
Get lightning Durgas on hand and Gaze of Despair on pocket. Go to chapter 7 I think ( the storm angel boss) and spam Y on his head. +9999 X 9.9 = About one million halos.
Just did this. Mad 20 million halos and bought the rest of the things I was missing.
And if you are on Playstation,which thing do I should do ?
@@meli_melo62 Spam Triangle (the punch button). Have the Selene's Light accessory equipped as well. Make sure you keep your combos as high as possible.

@CloudxDark you have to play and complete 100 chapters. it can be playing the game over and over from start to finish until the total number of chapters you completed is 100 or you can complete the same chapter 100 times.

Try again the sequence but with a different final button.
I play on Nintendo Switch and some of the sequences have a different final button.
Play The Lumen Sage battle mission over and over until you get 10 million halos
You don't get especially much halos for Balder..
Use gaze of despair and play the cardinal virtue of temperance over and over
this game is sick.. and i m loving it... these weapons are CRAZY....
to unlock sai fung you need to do 100 chap
meaning you have to do lots of it and to do lots of it you have to finish it quickly that means making it harder will make your progress alot slower
Wait a minute...the guys that made Bayonetta made Okami back in the PS2 days. One of the characters in that game, named Waka, had a weapon called Pillow Talk.
Has anybody else here noticed that? The two weapons look the same!
That I'm not sure about. I started doing the prologue a bunch with the Climax Brace equipped. I later took it off and tried again. I wish I had counted the times I did that, but I didn't. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't use it when going for the Sai-Fung.
I wouldn't be suprised if Zero, even by it's name, would be a reference to Nightmare Before Christmas. This game already has so many game and movie references :P

bluevegas- You have to play a total of 100 chapters on normal or hard mode to unlock Sai-Fung if I'm correct. I don't think I'll ever get to playing the entire game 100 times over. TIf that were the case, that would be a bit harsh just to unlock a weapon. Getting Rodin and Climax Bracelet was a chore already but worth it.

@truespart you hold RB or R1 depending on the console then hit Y or triangle to use the beam it also works with the other sword

You have to pay. Cheapest things are 1 million halos, and the most expensive things are 5 million.

Really? I thought it just turned on easy automatic mode. If it does that then I'll have to update my description and try that out.
yep i know,well a few weeks after that comment was made :P thanks to a very helpful person making that video showing how to get 1,000,000 halos by rabidly attacking temperentia with the right accessories. That boss was so hard first time,now hes just a halo machine,its kinda sad. :P
found a way to get around 20 million halos.

@TronPachioftheDynamo There are three "classic telephones" in the plaza at chapter 2 after verse 3, the left one at the bottom of the stairs is for weapons, the right one for accessories, the one on the opposite of those two telephones are for the characters... As to why the cheats are not done on a single telephone rather than three, well maybe they don't want to confuse us... But it ends up with people getting confused on which one is for which cheat, so yeah... Go figure...
I would say that anyone using these cheats is just lazy, but considering how many halos you need to get them, I'm tempted to say otherwise.
Ya, no. I bought Jeanne xD Because there's a couple chapters that I never get anything better than silver or gold because I can't find certain verses or I get hit a few times :O
Evan Biesaga Halos are easy to obtain once you get to Chapter VII though. Just murder the crap out of the boss with Durga and boom... 800K Halos in less than 10 minutes on Normal.

Kingdom HR You can do it it's not hard at all. All you need is practice I do take damage here & there but went you practice you can avoid most to all damage taken if your skilled

@cowsarewild I don't think you're doing it right: you should hear a sound confirming the code, your halo count will decrease by the cost of the secret you're unlocking and the item appears in your inventory right away.

@GERARDO4766 first of, spell check is your friend and lay off the caps. second off, Jeanne and Little Zero are accessible at the new game menu.

I don't believe so. Are you going to the booth in the video? Each booth is for specific codes. The left is for weapons, right for accessories, and the lone one for characters. And you do have the required Halos right?

@PrinceOF9Imagination Press select during the practice loadscreenes to make it stay in practice mode for as long as ya like, just press select again to stop.
you have to start a new game ad then you will be able to select him. But you will start from scratch so i suggest you dont overwrite your save file with Bayonetta
