Thank you for having the courage to speak up for yourself, and for us Ethan. As an indigenous person it meant ALOT to me to have you on the Oilers and I wish you and your family all the best 😁
This is awesome. Amazing way for ea sports for promoting and researching this topic and big shout out to Ethan bear for coming out and talking about this
glad UNINTERRUPTED has provided a way for a wide variety of viewers to watch this, and be privy to the FACTS ...
Wow, what an inspiring story of bravery and compassion. Welcome to Vancouver Ethan Bear, we’re lucky to have you.
I love this. What a great person he is. So happy he has such a great support group, too.
Goes to show how humble we as a First Nation of Canada are and will forever be, Ethan has grown up to be a true leader in and out of the locker room and he didn't have to be drafted # 1 overall to show it. Much Love and RESPECT for our fellow Warrior keep up the good work Ethan hoka from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Saskatchewan.
I’ve met him many times, as well as his family, they are some of the nicest people you can meet. Great people and hope they never forget that.
He probably felt so isolated in that locker room, none of his teammates had his back when he needed it the most.
Coach benched him too. Ethan Tippet was a horrible coach! Please come back!
How do you know that??
Making assumptions you aren’t in the locker room
Yee yee don’t have to make assumptions asshole we as indigenous and First Nations ppl go through this type of shit all the time so ya people don’t be surprised when we start freaking lol
Hahahaha no he didn't. Sorry but I played for 20 plus years and never had a kid in a lockeroom be racist or anything. Ya I've seen players butt heads over hockey and play but this whole attention seeking shit is outta control
I am so proud of Ethan and Lenasia!
This video was so beautiful it made me cry. Love from Australia. Sport is supposed to bring us together, not separate us. Love will always be stronger then hate. Humanity will only reach it’s full potential when we finally come together as one.
Love it! Sad that Edmonton oilers fans basically booed him out of the city sad that racism is still a big problem for natives and minorities alike. Love this Ethan Bear you're the best
Not all oilers fans booed him and I was one of them that wasn't impressed with how he was treated
@@tobiasfrost86 it's always racism is it?
LOVE this !!! Amazing example of stepping out of your comfort zone to stand for what’s right. Thank you everyone involved in this. 🧡🧡🧡
I know this dude and have so much respect for him
welcome to the canucks,, i too am proud of my native routes. as a cree metis who shares my lineage with players like brian trottier and therian fluery, i love keeping track of all native players in the league. i'm sure that the way you react to adversity is sdmired but your community and by all canadians. may your future with the canucks be long and enjoyable.
So proud to have you in Canes country Bearzy!!! Keep standing for what is right. Love your story.
Love this guy. Rooting for him
As a canes fan, so happy to see him doing well and living life.
I absolutely love this! Such a brave spirit you are with the love of a great support group. My father in law always says those words "Love one another, respect one anotherl." 💓 My son's (who do not have social media) follow your career, the teachings you spread and you as an individual.
The best episode so far
What an awesome testament. We are so lucky to have you as part of the Canes. Looking forward to a long career with Carolina.
Great video, keep up the good work Ethan. We all stand with you! ✊🏽🌾
Classy Ethan ..welcome to Vancouver!
So much respect for this young man. He now plays for the CAROLINA HURRICANES and he is one of my favorite people!
Go get em Ethan! For us Oilers fans who were horrified at what you went through, and saddened to see you be traded and leave Edmonton. We wish you the most success and will be watching, smiling.
To see a First Nation success story and to have them not look back to where they came from is very common to have people like Ethan Bear to give back and to represent not just to himself his family or his community but an entire world of people who who deal with racism in parts of there everyday living thank you sir love from Ocean Man First Nation
If it's any consolation, he knows he found himself a rock in his significant-other. Not many partners would have voluntarily come to the other's defence like that. Keep on doing what you love and giving joy to the future generation. I wish you played for our Sens. ; )
He makes everybody proud to be Indigenous!
I am First Nation and I have a son who enjoys hockey he always goes to an outdoor rink and plays puts on his skates he’s also in a hockey team he is only 12 year old he also has a job on his free time he plays his guitar I am so proud of my son keeps himself busy even though it’s minus 36 outside he still goes to outdoor rink
Proud of ya Ethan.. I remember the old rink and watching and playing with ya cousin.
Together we can fight racism. Lets all do some small thing today and be part of the solution. Starting with the smallest gesture is important.
Love your attitude Ethan
Amazing video Ethan Bear is the best native hockey player would like to see him in a canadian team jeresy
Good guy Ethan , thanks for sharing
Prayers to The Elders go up for Ethan Bear. His Spirit is Blessed and he is highly favored to be a great leader of those who do not have the strength they need to see the Hope in Love!! Honorable Parents are Blessed by Honorable children. Ethan is a Blessing!
Big Respect!!!
This is a great video and I am very happy and proud that the Canucks got him. He is going to be a great addition...
We would love to have him on the Leafs. He’s a tough player.
Welcome to Vancouver Ethan 🐻
i have a story about racism in the locker room, i had just joined a team, haven’t even played 1 game or been introduced yet. i was suiting and this guy starts telling a story of how over the long weekend that his house got robbed, but the funny thing was that all his liquor in the bar hadn’t been touched and that the liquor was very expensive, another player on the team blurts out well now you know it couldn’t of been indians and most of everyone started laughing, i don’t think they even noticed i was there. i went on to play for this team for a few years and everyone turned out to be good guys.
Ethan bear used to play for the Seattle thunderbirds at Kent showare
This guy will continue to be the player I’ll keep an eye on… I still remember the day I played a game of NHL EASHL drop in and got to play with the guy before he ever got drafted. (He’s come a long way since then and I continue to wish him the best every season)
From the Oilers to the Hurricanes and then the Canucks… I’m still supporting the guy and watching every game I can. I hope he keeps this up because he’s slowly getting there.
Amazing …..
Love it great job man
saw you on hnic tonight, dont like the Canucks but I love your spirit. You are so unbelievably lucky to have an amazing fiancé
Ethan's a smart, respectable, strong young man. I give most of the credit to his amazing parents for this. He seems to have a wonderful fiancé, as well. He took on a problem and moved forward instead of becoming a victim. Great, great job, mom and dad!
What a fantastic young man
Just if tsn would do something like this. Good job EA sports.
We need bear back on Oilers he’s a amazing player
I'm a Calgary fan,but,still agree with you.

Great young man…..didn’t give up!
Love you Ethan!!! Go canes!!!! ❤️🤍

Oilers fans running good people out of their organization. They don't deserve McDavid or Draisatle
Way to go man !
It's realy interesting story of this guy. Respect from Russia, peace.
This is great. I’m glad he stepped up. This kind of crap will disappear one day.
the day when HEAVEN is "on earth"
Thank you for the free card so much ea my 2 pair on defense was not looking so good so I needed this
Best thing EA did in a while is the breaking ice free cards
Powerful inspirational man!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🐻🐻🐻🐻
I just watched this. Stay song young man don't listen to that garbage behavior!!! You have more support than you know buddy! Go Canucks Go!!!
Welcome to the Canucks to a quality kid!
Welcome to the Canucks, Ethan!
Tryna see this beauty of the flames
Ethan Bear, I am a huge oilers fan and I miss you
Good for you kid !
I am part Lakota. When God asked me what side of the blade are you on, I thought of iceskates and ice hockey and answered, in the side of the righteous, my words are my sword. I was born March 11th in Bethlehem.

Nice
Salem Ethan. Salem from Jerusalem
🧡
Welcome to the Canucks Ethan
I remembered that night ... There was no racism remarks... One person said looks somebody needs more training n shouldn't be playing like that... Im ndn n ndns dont know the diff. Between racism and stereo type...
Beauty
Fucking love this guy
Who’s here from NHL 22
Now hes a Canuck for Life
what were the racist comments made (when Bear “lost the playoff series for the oilers”)?
i’m probably of this,i’m black foot
As hard as it is I find it quiet disgusting how there is uneducated racist people who think indigenous people are bad if you look back indigenous people greeted newcomers only for century of racism death and unjustice im pissed off how jealous people can turn a friendly guys world upside down just saying karma has a thing for payback to those racist immature people
Meewasin muskwa!
Ahhhh cuzzinnn mlahhhhh
Good healthy scratch
Way to "put on the foil".... #RealHero
✔UNINTERRUPTED 💯
Glad he left Edmonton. Go Canes!
When you're a shit player and you can't understand how you're shit so you say the people calling you a shit hockey player are racist cause it's easier that way.....
You did not deserve this
Man not right what happened obviously but this dude spent 6:46 going on ab it
Us indigenous peoples should never have to put up with this racism we are warriors sent down we love and want peace but others don’t I love hockey because my Ojibwe people played for the boarding schools and it’s sad I am in tears seeing Ethan Bear getting hated one for being indigenous
I have you overall 99 on NHL 22 you leading the d man in the league because that’s how us natives do. EA sports it’s in the game. Hiy Hiy
The Canadiens can ask themselves, WHO was here first? Who are the immigrants?
lol he got racist comments online and got a 5 minute special forcefed down the throats of strangers minding their own business. i cant wait for society to stop revering "victims" and if being called something messed up online makes you a victim than every single person who has logged ln deserved the same attention
Stop with the Trama crap.....being a 1st nation player blah blah ...NHL Is about talent an skill....if you got the goods ...you might make the big show.
Stand up for the truckers! Stand up for freedom.
Wrong place for that garbage, bud.
@@tami3456 freedom is garbage, ok got it.
