Lovely thanks. Probably one of the best performances with a Coral-type sitar on YT

I remember when these guitar came out around 67-68 I was on a train ironically. I seen this pamphlet for music store owners to buy new products someone left on the seat of the train. I said to myself looks interesting. Little did I know many tunes were being created with this instrument at that moment. The suggested price for the guitar was $290.00 any Who I enjoyed the post. Thank you for sharing. c];-)

Wow! That was hot! I love sitar, but electric sitar has always been a sort of guilty pleasure of my very subjective self. Kitaro did some nice stuff, but it's mostly been a toy. You and Lyle (he played such beautiful chords!) have taken it from guilty pleasure to a masterpiece of complete beauty. Thank you!

It’s not “Last Train Rolling”, it’s “Last Train Home” by Pat Metheny.

Steve Miller still uses one of these in his show. He found it in a junk pile at Manny's in NYC.

It would be great to know how he set the amp (channels, modes, and settings) and any effects he applied in addition to the sitar itself.
