For those of you that would like to get that cover, it is on Andy's CD "Pawn kings live", 1998... recorded at the Blue Cat Blues in Dallas, when Andy was still unknown to many!!!
I only discovered Andy last year - I know - what rock have I been under?🤣. I rarely say this - but boy does he come close to Gary in terms of tone, touch and feel. A fantastic version, with his own touches but remaining true to the original.
Andy did it in his style and what a beautiful arrangement it is! Not many as great as him to cover legend like Gary. :) I've enjoyed every bit of it good sir.
anyone know which of his amps he is playing through in this song? have always loved Andy Timmons tone, and he feel and touch, this is on of my absolute favorites
Andy Timmons is a great guitarist. My current favorites in the world are Andy Timmons, Jeff Kollman, and Keith Delleva (Philippine professional guitarists).

Incredibly amazing Andy's own version nostalgic tribute to the legend Gary Moore.🎸💯🎶⭐👍👏
fantastic❤
great‼️
Gary was something else wasn't he ? that blistering clear unprocessed tone, even live. unmuffled. restrained and unrestrained, what a musician he was.

I love it all !!!!st
Great playing by Andy, his tone is awesome!!!
lots of errors though
@@zanthony1286 I heard a few, but not that many. I guess with such a clear tone it is harder to disguise any imperfections.
Finalmente uma versão com qualidade de Andy tocando the loner com imagem. Valeu
Good tone and control.
I wonder if Jeff Beck covered this song as well?
I love to play this tune live, but Andy is next level. I can only imagine what a Gary Moore, Andy Timmons collab would have looked like.
uh?
I was there. ❤
where?
3:13 it looks like Andy missed that spot but filled in very perfectly, watch the bass player carefully,.
He's so awesome! ❤
Who?
Ele querendo acabar e o baterista viajando 😂😂😂😂
Lost without you by John Petrucci was inspired by the loner of Gary M.
