How many times can you listen to a song before it does not give you chill bumps anymore? This song seems to have no limits, been listening to it since 1976 and it still gives me chills.
This man swung on to the merv griffin show from a rope wearing a loin cloth and caught his guitar mid leap as it was thrown to him by a roadie! Hes been a hero to me since! The motorcity madman rules!!!
After 7 decades on the planet I’m still rockin to this. Who in the world at this time had this energy, talent and Rock-n-Roll moxy. Ted Nugent........ did you hear me? ......Ted Nugent. If he doesn’t get in the R-n-R hall of Fame .......I say burn it to the ground.
Went to his concert in 1977 while i was with the 82d ABN DIV, I'm Hispanic and had caucasian friends who invited me to the concert Man Ted can play that guitar, i was amazed thank you Ted. People were passing marijuana joints around, Damm miss those days.
@@sarty23 i know he says he never abused drugs but considering that this is from the 80s and he was a rockstar from the 70s i say he has almost certainly done drugs. I haven seen ted live too often but his energy in this video is very similar to videos of other performers on cocaine.
drummer went way off studio script...sounds like any other drummer here...worked, but not the compositions that make him sound so unique...that solo is just rock guitar...this WAS the 70's before Eddie invaded the planet...

I'm 60 and grew up with Uncle Ted, he still rocks the house. Keep on Truckin
RIP to a so sweet man, bass player Mike Gardner....somewhere in the shadows here.
And that ladies and gentlemen is how you rock .
My Uncle Ted!
damn they need to release this whole show on DVD CD and vinyl LP
They do indeed
if the world loved itself as much as ted loves himself, it would be lying to itself too
Jesus that boy can rock!!
El bajo también es buenísimo!
GOD Bless TED he likes American made
The Les Paul is a different sound from the Byrdland, but it's still nice and crunchy, just the way I like it!
I prefer the Brydland. It all sounds good though.
I hear Chuck Berry in them licks.
Love u
Is the backing band The D.C. Hawks? I remember he fired his old backing band and hired a band called The D.C. Hawks around this time.
Quelle belle pêche !
DONNY'S NEW CAMPAIGN THEME SONG..#GTBTP
Force majeure - an act of God 😇
Hottest wildest front man ever!!!!
How many rockers do you all think were inspired by the Motor City MadMan??
First time I saw Ted with a Les Paul?
I think enough WWII vets have died where I can comfortably buy a German made Guitar
I love the faciap expressions. Im pretty sure they are a result of coke use, but they complete the performance.
he never used drugs

I thought Alice Cooper was weird.

He looks kinda like Niedermayer from Animal House....
Too slow. Speed it up a little.
