Ingrained takes place in a timeline of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire in which May failed to stop Team Aqua from flooding the world. As the world was engulfed by the rising oceans, May's entire Pokemon team drowned one by one until she was only left with one: Roselia.
Roselia, in a desperate act to rescue her trainer, used the move Ingrain on both of them. The vines dragged them to the bottom of the ocean, seemingly sealing their fates. However, because the move prevents escape and has healing abilities, neither of them was able to truly die, leaving them to suffer together at the bottom of the ocean, waiting for help that will never come.
After an undetermined amount of years since the world was flooded, a certain blue-haired kid descends to the depths and discovers somebody who's been restlessly waiting for somebody to find her.

I've known unown since I was young, but forgot about it until monochrome first dropped, the way it all came back to me was funny though, like remembering all the lyrics to a song you haven't listened to in years

because double kill is a godlike song, and ingrain is also an amazing mod :)
Because double kill is a great song, and hypno's lullaby and ingrain are amazing mods
Because double kill is rock and both their songs are metal so they somewhat have a contrast
Because 1) As others said. Double Kill is an amazing song. And 2) His voice adds a bass that hers needed. Like she's good on her own. But adding the bass from his voice just sends both of them through the roof in quality.
I like how May heals in sync with the double notes
I like how it seems how Gold is kinda having a casual chat with BF given they both met before. I say this cuz the first thing Gold says is "Hello Again." See? Casually greeting the "blue haired midget".

Double battle does make more since since Gold is technically battling and being controlled by the unknown while May's Roselia is still alive and can battle.
Hoenn is when Double Battles were introduced in Pokemon so it works even more lol.

Honestly, I really like the idea of this song! However, do you know if there is a FLP for this exact cover? I want to make it so instead of BF, it's Red.
I'm not so sure about that, but ember makes it clear which Chromatic for May is she using, and same with enderg, the flp for this particular song is in the GB page
@@Chispalectric Thank you for that, but I do wanna ask. Does the chromatic normally have a static sound in it? Or am I using the wrong gold chromatic? I'm using the official one from hypno's lullaby V2. I didn't see exactly what enderg said about gold chromatics.
