Even without the visuals, just the thought of someone being in this situation makes me feel uneasy.

Both fates are horrible things to go through no doubt. First we had Gold who was barely being kept alive by Unowns and now there's May who is being kept alive underwater while also being trapped below the depths. It's really depressing to think about how both suffered with their Pokémon together. Which were Roselia and Celebi who stuck with them until the end. I always dig seeing a new horror spin on other Pokémon characters. This was super cool!
I really like how well the Unown and Ingrain mechanics work together. The don't interfere with each other at all, and the small touch of changing the messages to fit the context of the song is really cool.
It looks like Boyfriend saved her based on what I read here: "A certain blue-haired kid descends to the depths and discovers somebody who's been restlessly waiting for somebody to find her." He finds her and gets her out of the ocean, but in an alternate universe (Pokemon Omega Ruby) May is burning alive for all eternity and BF doesn't find her cause no human can survive under lava.
What about is rescued by GF? She's not a human, is a demon. It's going to require some more plot that justified the fact that, in the moment they cut the roots she's not going to die, or the fact that GF went inside a lava ocean just to rescue someone that she doesn't know is in there.
Idk if it even is possible for bf to save her since After using ingrain it’s impossible to stop it, the only thing bf can do to save her is to probably faint roselia, but if that doesn’t work the only thing bf can do after that is to end her suffering For Omega ruby this wouldn’t even be possible since ingrain won’t be fast enough to save them both (they would be burnt almost instantly because fire is super effective against grass)

what a story to be trapped in. Being kept alive whether you want to be or not, unaware of how long you have to sit through constant restoration, sure there is an end eventually but pokemon in the same class as pikachu and bidoof can still live from 20 to 40 years (according to a quick google search) and even then once Roselia dies May would be truly alone and somewhere from her 30s to 50s. However with them both feeding off the planet's remnant life who can say that the time won't last even longer, a couple more decades, a few centuries, a millenia or so? If Gold is being kept alive by a Celebi or Unown an mentioned by @Rice well, legendaries and mythics are immortal, there is no escape or release until they choose to do so.
If I remember correctly didn't gold die with his body being controlled by the unkown? Maybe it'd be like he's mostly dead with his spirit trapped in his body. Idk, just something I remember hearing.

it's a creepypasta for 1, and 2 based on what I've seen it's kinda like leech seed but extended here for story reasons, and they're probably using the planet's life force to feed theirs.
The battle doesn't end until all pokemon on one side faint. and since there is no other side, its waiting until Roselia faints. but they are pretty much dying at the same rate they are being healed, nulling each other out. PP isn't an issue because once you use ingrain once it sticks until that pokemon is fainted. it does not need sunlight to keep going either. but, then again, you can only use ingrain on yourself. (not another pokemon). so technically no, this couldn't happen. so yes, you are right.. just not in the way you thought
Technically possible Pokemon are not necessarily bound by game mechanics in universe Nor would it stop a roselia desperate for any method of survival for itself and its trainer think about if it's possible or not And admittedly the pokepastas are possible in the greater pokemon multiverse as much as rainbow rocket is possible Though I doubt arcues is heartless enough to leave them as they are and likely aim to help to what degree he can And honestly being ingrained on the ocean floor, I do beilive that version of may and roselia will likely wind up 2 new mythicals of their realm in likelihood Nothing exists in true vacuum so as far as I can say a happy ending for the pokepastas are possible It will however be a long time for the poor dears
ingrain is a move that can't really run out of pp, it only consumes pp when the Pokémon is someone forced out of it or is killed, so they really are trapped for eternity
This mod really got me into Poképasta, like Hypno's Lullaby. I feel bad for May and Roselia for being stuck underwater, undead. BF should've save both of them. However, I forgot BF visits people just to rap battle and leaves, not caring about anything happening. Besides, this mod is amazing. I wasn't expecting Gold to appear in the mod. I like the idea that May is undead and Gold is already dead (or undead?). I need to see these two bond more than just singing. As I said again, this mod is such a dope. Thanks to Ender and Ember for making this creepypasta. This is already the best mod even though it's not popular yet. Hope it grows more attention like Hypno's Lullaby. I really love to see more Poképasta mods. Also, I love to see more further updates of Ingrained May! ^^
One thing I don't understand about the mod is how water-type Pokemon or Pokemon that can breathe underwater didn't survive. Shouldn't they be swimming around and, at some point, would find May and Roselia and help them out?
I think the thing is that this is the bottom of the ocean Gotta imagine that most sea life isn’t able to survive down there, which might be the same in the Pokemon world- It’s pretty vast too- And considering that the entire world flooding would disrupt multiple marine ecosystems, so some water type Pokemon might kick the bucket too-
While that is true, and I don't have a good reason for it, I do have a funny one. Kyorge summoned a storm, right? And storms have lighting in them, right? And since water is weak to electric, when the many lighting bolts hit the water, it's enough to deal fatal damage. As for May and Roselia, May is a part of Roselia, and grass resists electric.

Being honest I think Gold's faith is better than May's. Think about he's barely alive and missing limbs but he's not drowning then being brought back to drowning again which is one of the worst deaths to experience

At the same time of this event...even though it has a endless Acts of healing on Ingraned-May's half keeping her & her only other pokemon, except the ones I do believe swiming either above or around her...she is kinda Screwed many regards as to even if she decided to attempt in getting the vines off, she's most likely to heavy to even swim up, as speaking logically with how long she's been down on the ocean floor her clothes to even body may have been soaked so much that she could barely move, that and even so to how high Kyogre made the ocean levels, I do believe for this to be a better end, that is of course going off the fnf time point to get them out in some type of way that retains with her still being healed by Ingran or heck Synthesis or other healing moves that rosalina has at her disposal...depending on level of course. < kinda forgot the ORAS Rosalina Move pool >

@@breezy8474 I have an idea. He could have a Milotic that uses Aqua Ring on both of them. The move in the anime heals burns, so if the lava takes them, I imagine Aqua Ring protecting the two but occasionally lava burns them but the ring heals their burns though not completely so they look very skeletal and barely alive, just “lucky” enough that their vitals haven’t been burned off. They are too weak to move to escape the lava so they are stuck their together forever in constant agony, burning and healing in a constant cycle.
I love how everyone is pointing out small details: But Ingrained has a more desperate charting then Monochrome. What I mean, is that the Charting is a bit tougher then Monochrome (prob because of the word sections in Monochrome.) This could mean May is still holding out hope for rescue, desperately trying to cling onto hope BF will save her, hope that one day she will be able to see the sunlight again. But that day will never come, nor the day where she can rest in eternal slumber. Damn that’s a dark thought.

I have realised these both has been in the depths for so long. We had Gold suffer in the void and the arms and legs got off and turned to Silver now we have May underwater just stuck in the vines. (And also just like Sink) These both suffered so long with pokemons.

Seeing a lot of comments about water pressure affecting her in the comments, and I'd just like to say this: Water Pressure does not exist in the Pokemon World. If it does, it's extremely lenient. We're talking about a world where a pokemon trainer can use Dive to just casually zip to the bottom of the ocean and back with only a pokemon and no protective gear whatsoever. There are also several instances in spinoffs, namely Pokemon Ranger where humans can just dive to the very bottom of the ocean if they want with only a rebreather, even without pokemon related assistance. Also, considering BF's also down where she is and seems to be able to rap perfectly fine, I think it's safe to consider it applies here, too. I ain't saying there's not a bunch of other problems, but, at the very least, that's not an object in this situation.

few problems with this mod. One, why is bf the FIRST person in years to go down there? Two, I was a little disappointed that May didn’t have a “NO MORE” animation. Three, if at this point May has been driven to insanity, she could easily just kill the Roselia and give up. and finally: Four, why is she MAD at bf? he’s literally the “help” she’s been waiting years for.

This is by far the creepiest one of the Lullaby mod not because of how scary it can be, but because of how it destroyed my childhood and adulthood. Alpha Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I played to the end, and now I'm seeing what could've happened if I failed. I didn't have a Roselia with ingrain, so I was basically screwed (I guess this a fate worse than death because May drowns forever without finding rest due to the ingrain). To top it all off, it makes my favorite song far more bone-chilling. May's cries in agony are far worse than Gold's wails.

That and Ingrain doesnt prevent death. Just heals you, so the water pressure should have torn them to shreds by now

Thanks to Ender and Ember for making this creepypasta. This is already the best mod even though it's not popular yet. Hope it grows more attention like Hypno's Lullaby. I really love to see more Poképasta mods. Also, I love to see more further updates of Ingrained May! ^^
One thing I don't understand about the mod is how water-type Pokemon or Pokemon that can breathe underwater didn't survive. Shouldn't they be swimming around and, at some point, would find May and Roselia and help them out?

While that is true, and I don't have a good reason for it, I do have a funny one. Kyorge summoned a storm, right? And storms have lighting in them, right? And since water is weak to electric, when the many lighting bolts hit the water, it's enough to deal fatal damage. As for May and Roselia, May is a part of Roselia, and grass resists electric.
Her Piplup would've helped but maybe the pressure in the deep sea may be too strong for Piplup to withstand...

At the same time of this event...even though it has a endless Acts of healing on Ingraned-May's half keeping her & her only other pokemon, except the ones I do believe swiming either above or around her...she is kinda Screwed many regards as to even if she decided to attempt in getting the vines off, she's most likely to heavy to even swim up, as speaking logically with how long she's been down on the ocean floor her clothes to even body may have been soaked so much that she could barely move, that and even so to how high Kyogre made the ocean levels, I do believe for this to be a better end, that is of course going off the fnf time point to get them out in some type of way that retains with her still being healed by Ingran or heck Synthesis or other healing moves that rosalina has at her disposal...depending on level of course. < kinda forgot the ORAS Rosalina Move pool >

@@breezy8474 I have an idea. He could have a Milotic that uses Aqua Ring on both of them. The move in the anime heals burns, so if the lava takes them, I imagine Aqua Ring protecting the two but occasionally lava burns them but the ring heals their burns though not completely so they look very skeletal and barely alive, just “lucky” enough that their vitals haven’t been burned off. They are too weak to move to escape the lava so they are stuck their together forever in constant agony, burning and healing in a constant cycle.

But Ingrained has a more desperate charting then Monochrome. What I mean, is that the Charting is a bit tougher then Monochrome (prob because of the word sections in Monochrome.)

my headcannon for this mod is that her poses are her struggling to breathe and escape while also panicking asking bf for help while he makes gibberish.
I have realised these both has been in the depths for so long. We had Gold suffer in the void and the arms and legs got off and turned to Silver now we have May underwater just stuck in the vines. (And also just like Sink) These both suffered so long with pokemons.

Seeing a lot of comments about water pressure affecting her in the comments, and I'd just like to say this: Water Pressure does not exist in the Pokemon World. If it does, it's extremely lenient.
We're talking about a world where a pokemon trainer can use Dive to just casually zip to the bottom of the ocean and back with only a pokemon and no protective gear whatsoever. There are also several instances in spinoffs, namely Pokemon Ranger where humans can just dive to the very bottom of the ocean if they want with only a rebreather, even without pokemon related assistance.
Also, considering BF's also down where she is and seems to be able to rap perfectly fine, I think it's safe to consider it applies here, too. I ain't saying there's not a bunch of other problems, but, at the very least, that's not an object in this situation.

few problems with this mod. One, why is bf the FIRST person in years to go down there? Two, I was a little disappointed that May didn’t have a “NO MORE” animation. Three, if at this point May has been driven to insanity, she could easily just kill the Roselia and give up. and finally: Four, why is she MAD at bf? he’s literally the “help” she’s been waiting years for.

This is by far the creepiest one of the Lullaby mod not because of how scary it can be, but because of how it destroyed my childhood and adulthood. Alpha Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I played to the end, and now I'm seeing what could've happened if I failed. I didn't have a Roselia with ingrain, so I was basically screwed (I guess this a fate worse than death because May drowns forever without finding rest due to the ingrain). To top it all off, it makes my favorite song far more bone-chilling. May's cries in agony are far worse than Gold's wails.
