Jagger is smart with money and he worked hard (and partied hard) as well as the others in the Rolling Stones to be where they are at. It blows my mind that so many years have passed and he is still going strong and the Stones still tour and sellout arenas. So grateful I finally had the chance to see them in the 90's with my son. He was a teen and still says it was one of the best concerts he had ever been to. The Rolling Stones have made a lot of very happy moments for millions of people worldwide.

Mick and Keith cofounded the band with Brian. There was no band until the three of them came together. Brian was the self appointed leader for a time but that didn't last. Mick and Keith took over the leadership with their manager Andrew Oldham.
Brian never had the discipline to go the long haul. So tired of hearing that nonsense that he was the “creator and talent of the Stones , Blah Blah Blah, Mick, Charlie and Keith kept it going for SIXTY YEARS, with their talent period. Brian Jones had talent , but he died young and people romanticize him due to his early and unfortunate demise. He drowned in a swimming pool while under the influence. I read a few years ago that Bill said, the plaque at Darford station to recognise the formation of the band isn't accurate. He said Brian founded the Stones. It was related to the chance meeting of Mick and Keith on the platform there, and hence the plaque is acknowledging them as the founding members.

Darn I lost the ticket stub - I think - or it’s in the back of a photo album with other concert tickets. I hope so. I absolutely had A Geat time. We had ok seats. Brian was a great guy, but his life was short-lived. Mick and Keith just kept the ball rolling, Brian was a good manager and he played some good stuff each and every one of them had a part in that when Brian couldn't come to the United States what were they supposed to do, not go? Brian was busy making like what 20 kids? He enjoyed what being a rolling stone brought to him. Is Mick Jagger wasn't their front man I wonder who would have been. What would they have been like with somebody else as a front man.

I have since come across lighters with the Rolling Stones logo on them, the mouth with the tongue hanging out. The Rolling Stones would be receiving royalties from that, at probably something like .10c or .20c per lighter sold. I have a couple of those lighters here right now. I like my cigars.
@Mike Barooshian Very good. Nothing wrong with collecting. But I just use the lighters. The white one is expired. I'm now using a black one. The local tobacconist has reams of them. They are the predominant ones there currently.
