I got a recent question from Song Notes member Alan, who asked for general tips when it comes to learning tricky "articulation" bits such as hammer-ons, pull-offs, bends, and so forth. I recorded this casual Q&A reply, where I talk through each of these techniques and give some general advice for each. To be clear, these are all techniques that can take a while to get comfortable with. Sometimes they come easier, while in other circumstances they're quite difficult. Fear not, as I'll walk you through how to think about & practice them, big-picture.

Thanks all, enjoy ✌️ David Pots // songnotes.net
Helper fingers are a great tip for good bends! Bend up to your face on the treble strings and down to the floor on the bass strings.
You’re great David, yes I’d like to learn Moments of ForeverWillie Nelson style too❤
Amazing video Friend.
Really helpful. Thanks David ! You don’t have a lesson on Zepplin’s “Hey Hey what can I do?” By chance ?
Have a request hoping you will do it Willie Nelson Moments of Forever
Hammer ons, pull offs, and bending are three os the four most common “legato” techniques. The fourth is slides, or sliding. Curious why you didn’t include sliding in this vid.
