I preordered mine from BHQ in February or March, and finally got it mid-May. Awesome knife, but kinda crappy lead time from BHQ, seeing as how several other vendors had them available for weeks before BHQ got mine out.
Back spacer is anodized aluminum. Really like this knife! Btw love the carbon fiber over ti. PS can't stand lanyard holes so glad they left it out.
LTK, I have been triggered by your refusal to accept intermaterial relationships between Ti and CF. I think we can all agree this is 2018, not 1818. Intermaterial relationships are just as meaningful as relationships between the same materials. This is the kind of attitude that holds us all back.

You gotta get the GreenThorn version of this knife in M390.. full-ti, supreme fit and finish, the usual, w/ GT, dual-row bearings w/ full weight relief.
There is even a cheaper version that still has CF and Ti scales with d2 that's around $65! Only difference being the pivot screw is just a standard black.

I would like a version with TI on both sides. I agree fully, LTK.
the only thing stopping me from buying this knife and the other 2018 releases (except for the 0470 which I just bought) is the absence of a lanyard hole. I put a lanyard on every one of my EDC folders.
The blade length should be from the tip to the end of the handle, i.e. how deep it would go when stabbing (not that we have much need for that)!
Keeper xD , just put a bronze/brown ano on the frame lock and you're good to go, the action and execution on this knife is flawless. Hate the billboarding tho but seems like ZT loves that stuff.

This is a truly a beautiful knife , the only thing thats annoying is the plain pocket clip . A milled titanium clip would have really set this knife apart

Get rid of your old ZTs lol... 1) terrible heat treat, 2) terrible lock geometry, 3) terrible bearings w/o steel washers, 4) no weight-relieving on inside until late 2018, 4) half are ugly. The designs they do get right, though, are hella attractive. But I just can't justify all that money on a ZT when my $60 China knives have dual-row ceramic bearings w/ steel washers, and are weight-relieved.
Shame the blade is a pain to sharpen at the base though; and state laws would be a pain in the ass.
