Thanks for the Bubble Netting explanation Kristie. Going this July and your tips and insights have been super helpful. Your videos are well done and appreciated!
Thanks! I’m working hard to bring you the information you need in the most interesting way that I can cookies up. I meant cook. Or did I? Thanks for watching and commenting. 😊
I’m with you. That is why I started this channel. What ship are you sailing on? We are on Celebrity Summit right now as it makes its way to Vancouver to start the Alaska cruise season.
I went on a discounted helicopter hour long excursion on the island of Kauai even though the previous year there was two helicopters that collided not see each other through a cloud cloud… Had the most amazing experience zipping through the canyons was mighty daring… I'll never forget it and I'm grateful nothing bad happened. by the way if you ever go on a helicopter excursion do not ever wear a white shirt or T-shirt as it will ruin all the pictures as well as hurts the visibility as it reflects your white shirt against all the curved windows.
Choosing the right excursions for you can really make your Alaskan cruise vacation memorable. Which excursions will you go on or are you a DIY kind of cruiser? 😊🛳️🚢
Glad it was helpful! If you are trying to decide which cruise line to take, watch this video next. Happy sailing! ruclips.net/video/B2LrRmNzepw/видео.htmlsi=BcXi0jQekqdceVR_
Thank you very much for your video - great tips. I've downloaded map of Juneau right away. I'll be on a 9 day Alaska cruise on 9 Oct with Norwegian Jewel - can't wait. @all: Note, when cruising in October: Cruise lines still offer excursions in October and capacity is limited, but they have great deals because of off-season. Third party excursions might be limited, because companies start to close business in October. There are even some telling online, booking in October only through cruiseline available. Happy cruising in Alaska.
Thanks Monika for watching and commenting. I’m curious to hear about your October experience and how your excursions go. You might check out this video next if you haven’t seen it yet. @@cruisingwithkristie Thanks for the link, I've already watched before.🤩 Sure, I will provide information about October (colder temperatures, but only 4 rainy days in average 🤩) experience in Alaska. I have already booked all excursions through cruiseline right away after booking. Bc of my latitudes status with Norwegian I get discount and due free at sea promo 50$off each excursion - that's a great deal. My expenses (solo traveller) incl all deals for excursions are below 280$ 🤩 (worth double). Btw there was no need for me booking costly tours like whale watching, bc at my home we have whale mummies with their new born babies from July to October passing by at outer reef 😁, so I can watch them while sitting at our beach in lagoon. Helicopter flight would be a great opportunity, but it is not in my mind, I'm not a fan of helicopters. I once did a 1hr flight in Yellow Stone, it was great to see scenery, but I realized, I'm too frightened in helicopters. As I'm experienced cruiser - both with family/friends or solo traveller, I've already done my usual "homework" before cruising and still do. Overall I watched🤓 approx 80-100 videos 🤭 about cruising Alaska. I'm a kind of "over-planning" person. I look forward to your packing video. Btw I will go cruising with carry-on/personal item (short time frame international US and domestic flight as well perk of free laundry on ship) - already made "test-packing" - it worked for me. Greetings from Moorea (sister island of Tahiti) in French-Polynesia 🌴 🏖 😎 🇵🇫 🇫🇷 🇪🇺
Suggestion from this former Alaska bush pilot: skip any flight seeing excursions. Dozens of Alaska cruise ship passengers have been killed in air crashes just in the past ten years or so.
Oh my. That is frightening. Definitely people should investigate and only fly with reputable companies if they do choose to fly. Thanks for watching and commenting.
My mother did the helicopter and landed on a glacier. I would love the dog sled. Thanks for sharing about budget friendly options.
We are heading to Alaska again soon and will definitely be sprinkling in some more budget friendly options. Thank you for watching and commenting! 😊

Hi Monika. You and I have a lot in common. Over planning and watching a lot of RUclips. I’m not a light packer…yet. I’m working on it.

@@cruisingwithkristie - the problem is that the crashes were all with “reputable” companies certified by the FAA and working with the cruise lines.
I saw a sign that says no food or you get a fine or 6 months jail. I think this is because it can attract the bears
Bears do like picnic baskets. Good idea to follow the rules. I’d like to see bears, but from a distance. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
Thank you for sharing a lot help for me for our future alaska cruise Trip
