Our first Celebrity cruise was a great success in our book, even on one of their older ships.I know that many of you are sailing Celebrity Summit right now in Alaska. This smaller ship will serve you well. Be sure to check out the made to order items in the buffet. Yum!🍳🥗

We love Summit. Good food, great service, excellent entertainment, no kids😂

Hi Bill. I could agree more. Thanks for watching and commenting. Check out my video that is coming out tomorrow at 6 when I review Celebrity and the Summit.

Little kids belong at HOME, not on cruise ships annoying and screaming!!!!

so funny @MaMa. With a handle like that I’m guessing you NEED the getaway. And, I agree. Know your kids and know which cruise lines are geared towards them. 😊

My first Celebrity cruise was in the 1990's on the Celebrity Galaxy. This was before the Millennium ships had been launched. For me, Celebrity is the best value out there in all their classes. It has always been a quality experience.

I am definitely a fan! I look forward to trying the Solstice and Edge class ships in the future. 😊. The ship, food, and fun!

I’m looking to sail on the Equinox in Feb out of Orlando and we already booked a cruise to Alaska on the Edge in May. Celebrity was great fun and I can’t wait to sail with them again. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a great cruise!!😊

Kristi, we were on this cruise also. Ours is a somewhat less glowing revue of food and activities. We are hooked on the larger Solstice series ships for entertainment around the ship. Glad to see your review and the memories they invoke.!

Since this is our only experience with Celebrity, we had a great time. The weather definitely put a damper on things. I wish Celebrity had a Solstice class ship that sailed out of Los Angeles. Glad the video brought up memories. 😀🚢🛳️💕

At 0440 Did you say if I pack a bathing suit next time? We love all of the pools on the Summit, as they are all heated. So far I am very much enjoying your video.

Thank you for watching and commenting. And, yes, I did say if I pack a bathing suit. I don’t usually enjoy going in pools, but you are making me think about it. Happy sailing.

Oh wow, we sailed this ship back in 2011 and thought it was massive!! How times have changed! This does look like a bargain. We loved the thalasothearpy pool. Cool tip on the air tag. We agree that the main dining rooms on celebrity are the best. Amazing chocolate fountain! Great review. Cheers 🍻

Yes. Times are changing. For me the ship was plenty big, though a larger Sky Lounge would have been nice with so many indoors due to the weather on our sailing. Thank you for watching and commenting! 😊

Love love love the Summit. The aqua class suites and Blu are my favorites. Bayonne to Bermuda. Would do it again in a minute.

Thank you for the alert. I loved the food at the Cosmopolitan. Each night was a treat and yes had to try multiple appetizers and entrees. I missed lobster night too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Christopher for the comment. Maybe they didn’t have a lobster night on a 6 night cruise. 🤔

Agree. I’m tempted to sail back to LA on her at the end of the Alaska season. I think it would be a hoot to sit with the same servers and “entertain” Roxtar, one of the cruise director crew, with my Finish the Song strategy.

Been on the Celebrity Summit several times. Same with the Constellation. They are Millennium Class ships, and those I like. Been on the Celebrity Silhouette Class in it's inaugural season. It left a lot to be desired. Celebrity isn't as good today as it used to be when the Chandris family owned it. Celebrity Cruise Line makes their own Celebrity Salad Dressing. Cafe al Bacio was a favorite place for us. The serving of food by staff is better than the chaos that a free for all self serving is. Not a fan of silent disco. The theater was nice. Saw the only living member of The Lettermen that was still alive. He recounted being on The Jack Benny Program. The Millennium Class trips to Canada and Bermuda were really good.

I would definitely go on a millennium class ship again especially if the price is right. We found the food to be delicious and the service top notch! Thanks for watching and commenting
