You then had 1 1/2 hrs to.implement changes, suggestions and inform your team(as well as the required lunch you were supposed to take by clocking out. But you didn't get help til 1:30 pm at best or 1:45pm and still needed to.fit in lunch, receiving(we were a 50/50 store and recieved 50-80 boxes a day and still run your store. Oh and 80 hrs is accurate. sometimes left. You could expect going in thinking you had 80, but if you were not making plan, expect to cut anywhere from 2-6 hrs by the end of the week. Remember yoj can only have 40-42, your ASL is 30, and your team gets to divide 10 amongst the 3-5 of them. Its stupid. I love how they are like stores are not manned by one person. In actuality they are from 8, 9 until 1:30 Monday, and 2, sometimes 3 every other day, except weekends. that was 1pm, 2pm depending. Not dissimilar from any sales call I've ever been on. In fact this is pretty light. I've heard a lot worse. Get on a car dealership sales call. Those are borderline psychotic.
They say “don’t just add it on, which I know we don’t do” but as a former ASL, I can say with 100% sincerity, YES, GameStop higher ups will make the employees add things on and lie to the customers. What’s better is that if the customer comes back bc they realized what happened, they will discipline and put a permanent mark on the employee’s record, despite it actually being their fault. You’d think, at the very least, they would tell the customer the employee is being disciplined, but not actually do anything that would affect their employment, but no. And the employee is left confused and in a no-win situation especially when that person orders them to do the same thing again to another customer. The people targeted most are folks that either don’t speak English, or don’t speak very well. If a GameStop employee is nodding at you, asking a question you don’t completely understand, do NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, NOD BACK!!
Man GameStop in the states is so weird. I was an ASM at EB Games (owned by GameStop) in Canada and we had none of this "put stuff on transactions" or "permanent mark if someone returns stuff". Its so weird to hear all of this from the American side.
I can confirm with this, as a former SGA who knew a lot within the company this was the stupidest thing that higher ups made us do. I still held back and offered it than throwing it into the transaction. I didn't want them coming back to scold or get made that we sold them something they don't appreciate or come to a higher escalation.

Bud, the people at the top are the biggest shit bags of all.
@@ericeugene2531 not all the time.
Not dissimilar from any sales call I've ever been on. In fact this is pretty light. I've heard a lot worse. Get on a car dealership sales call. Those are borderline psychotic.
this sounds like the most unprofessional conference call ever
No joke. All over the place. They literally think their employees are children this is sad
The way Camelot says “bye” and “yeah” alone is better than that guys singing
That's fucked up.
Man GameStop in the states is so weird. I was an ASM at EB Games (owned by GameStop) in Canada and we had none of this "put stuff on transactions" or "permanent mark if someone returns stuff". Its so weird to hear all of this from the American side.
@@CrankyCrabChaos its probably because Canada has actual laws stopping these practices.
I can confirm with this, as a former SGA who knew a lot within the company this was the stupidest thing that higher ups made us do.
I still held back and offered it than throwing it into the transaction. I didn't want them coming back to scold or get made that we sold them something they don't appreciate or come to a higher escalation.
@@Cruznick06 god that fucking sucks. I don't think I would have lasted more than 1 conference call in the states.
Are they just pretending the other call never happened.
Oh God the singing.
I got embarrassed for him.
4.4k views in 30 minutes on Saturday morning but they’re calling you a nobody. I bet they don’t even have their own nascar.
17k after 2 hours
You can tell that he thinks he’s a great singer. 🤣🤣🤣🙃

You can tell their pissed also be careful, they might be using this to find out who you are getting this from
This is a very good point.
Thought the same thing.
Lmao, you can tell this completely ruined their conference calls, and the facade and mask has been ripped off.
And I can tell that you are a fucking moron who believes anything any jack ass on RUclips will show you without question it wow you are a worthless piece of shit
J Smith angry much little guy?

Hey GameStop I hope you’re reading this! Thanks for sending me an extra copy of FF7 Remake deluxe edition I only bought one, but you guys sent me two. Appreciate it! Sold it for $299.99
Damn they suck, didn’t even mention trade-ins. I was a manager for EB / GameStop for 8 years. The level of incompetence on display is amazing.
You believe this is real how much of a fucking tool are you
I worked for a GameStop for a holiday season and it was a pretty shitty experience: the assistant manager bullied and harassed me pretty bad, calling me things like an idiot in front of other employees. Looking back I wish I had just called HR on the guy.
They got to their level because they have pyschopathic traits. Their toxic personality disorders gave them an edge in moving up the GameStop ladder. Competence has nothing to do with it.
that's funny, we should rate them since this was in effect a "sales conference call" about how much stuff they missed like they would do to an associate at the register.
Take a shot every time he says "10,000."
Anyone playing would die of alcohol poisoning.
I'm at the hospital
I’m wasted now thanks man.
Rip
The difference in personality between when they know they're being listened to vs when they're talking between themselves is astounding.
You know what is funny about this. These people are supposed to be the top tier, professionals. I think the fact that they did this call knowing it was going to be posted shows how what a dumpster fire Gamestop has become. All these people will be unemployed within the next year. They couldn't even come up with anything entertaining. Keep it up Camelot!
Omg I never thought ppl ever really maniacally & evilly laughed before but the bastard did it!!
Imagine trolling an entire corporation being just a "10k" view youtuber.
These jokers tried to shade Cody but ended up pwn'ing themselves. 😂
All of this!!!
"10,000 people know we're opening at 10am"
Not one of them are gonna show up at 10 am.....
Bro im soooo glad i found you.
This is awesome! Not only are they beginning to lose all methods of recourse but they will become a public example to all the other companies that do the same thing to their associates and customers.
Lift the veil and the ugliness underneath will be exposed! As always great job man, keep sticking it to these assholes!
All those passive aggressive swipes and the barely masked obsession. Cody living the life rent free in upper managements heads.✌🏼
Bingo
Don’t know they are being recorded: Act normal, aka evil.
Know they are being recorded: uhhh we’re not doing anything shady, just good and nice people here!
Get fired*
Proceed to send message to Cody saying he was right, acting all innocent and saying they were forced to do all the bad things they did
They should just invite him on the conference call at this point.
Just start adding him to the invites to get it out of the way
yup
Yo where did you get that name jiggity Jack...this has been my nickname for years its weair to see it
@@Jiggityjax Hahaha, got it like 2 decades ago... back when a lot of people had an "iggity" added to their first name as well as the first letter of their name going in front of the "iggity". Cool to see your response :D

its so cool that you are showing how one person can help chang the would thank you ^^ for speaking for the ppl
What a joke of a company. It’s bad enough you go into a store and it’s more than half toys and clothes. But this is how they run a business? Yeah I probably won’t be shopping here any longer.
Doppelganger I don’t care what the reasons are for him exiting GameStop. I’m not his customer giving him money. However, I do like how you snuck that positive for one side and negative for the other in your comment. Your bias is on display hard.
We can't hide in the dark anymore so we're going to mock how we're piss poor human beings.
those people are the leaders??? i remember my first focus group in high school... they all need to be revalidated. just sad
What is sad is they are joking about this when in fact they are/were doing what was discussed.
"Roleplay with them in the back." No thank you, I save that for my significant other.
Employee: I'll sing
Also Employee: Dame da ne.
How to be a good Gamestop employee: Work Somewhere Else! 🤣🤣🤣
THEY ARE NOW SENDING PRIVATE COMMUNICATIONS TO EACH OTHER
ABOUT WHAT THEY'RE REALLY DOING ...
since they now know that their conference calls are being monitored by thousands of people. They'll just talk crap in these conference calls to waste your time.
They're having a damn talent show because they knew they had an audience
"He's twisting the truth"
How?? We're just listening to YOU! You said it, not him
"We got 10k people listening" video gets over 50k views
LOL omg that ROB guy needs to drop the songs... i love near the end when he just gets shut down and the boss sounding dude moves it past him singing again really weirdly over a conference call 16:32
They're trying so hard to walk back all the bullshit they had said when they think no one is listening!
Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one see's or is listening to you!
Thank you for the advice Cool Cat
Oooof these people are salty. Sounds like they're trying to bait you. They'll be watching what they say in the future.
That's what happens when you get exposed
*they’re
I was about to say this. Careful; they are obviously trying to bait you into doing something. Keep in mind, bro: you have 50k more subscribers than THEY do. XD
The narcissism levels these people have, off the charts
Lack of empathy check, grandiose check, malignant check, arrogant check, haughty check. If it acts like a narcicist... Worked with toxic people like them before, hell.
@@paulclinton6414 why do u think every online application has a personality test now? they look for it in management. u get black balled if the test shows it and u aren't applying to management.
If they were smart, they would just play copyrighted music in the background during their call so he can't post it on RUclips xD lol
He could still post it, just couldn't monetize it.
Don't give them any ideas! Lol
Canadian Mike TV wouldnt it give him a copyright strike though?
Ewan Wickward haha. They work for GameStop. Ideas arent their strong suit.

If I were them I woulda went with the “Don’t forget to hit the like and subscribe button see you guys next call”
Amazing. Can’t believe that they consider this adequate damage control.
I knowwwww how embarrassing 🤦🏼♀️ this is a major embarrassment!
It's even worse. They think they're advertising to this channels viewers. They don't realize every view is one more person that has easily sworn off from ever going to a gamestop. I say easily because they offer nothing of worth. They don't sell anything people can't get almost anywhere for the same prices or less so there's really no hook in the first place. They really are this disconnected from reality.
Embarrassing
What are u talking about, that man sung, all wrongs forgiven.
I mean what else would they do anyway? Thing is with the internet - the harder you try to burry something the more people find out about it.
"I'm going to set up a dance floor in my store."
"Oh, I might come out and see that".... like any of the higher ups would ever leave their work from home situation to go to a store...🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️
My local GameStop the employee there told me the only way to get a game was to preorder it, they will not carry extra copies of new releases. Walmart had plenty of copies of Marvel Avengers and it was $49.
I was a GameStop manager about 20 years ago. Glad to see the company is even worse than I remember. No company has ever deserved bankruptcy more.
It's nauseating how many times these guys repeat the 10000 people line. These guys are so out of touch
I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose to piss Cody off...
COME ON ITS 100000!!!!
That's like... that's likeee... OVERRRRRRRR 9 THOUSANDDDDDDDDDDD
I love how they think this is advertising them.
King Zerefin i mean i want to go there to see if i can get them to sing for me! 🎶🎵
This call is like a joke!!!! Knowing that they were being recorded, they just acting like a fool. Crazy stuff.
This is on their best behavior. Regular calls must be torture.
"why you undercutting me. you underselling me" Uh... yeah. It's GameStop. They don't know real value.
When I started watching these videos a couple of years ago telling funny stories about our old GS Alum , I did Not think we were going to be sitting in on conf calls at the demise of GS today , crazy !
Love the content Camelot , keep fightin the good fight !
"No trickery...heh heh heh heh!" Uh...that laugh at the end didn't exactly ooze sincerity.
They've been trying to sneak the warranty on cheep wii games for a long time. I think it was around 4 years ago.. the wii games were less then the warranty. They tried to add it on without asking, then proceeded to say "oh, you didn't want the warranties?"
No the games were literally like 1-2$ each....
I knew it was fishy when they told me the price when it was near triple or so of the sticker prices. lol
That was the last time I got anything from a gamestop. They should rebrand and call themselves PleaseStop.
So while I'm watching this my dog is in the other room and when he started singing my dog started howling
I love how you've impacted these peoples lives! 🤣
i was at the local mall this weekend in jersey city and passed by the gamestop, laughing... at the fact that they have printed signs posted “now hiring GA and Management” 🤣🤣🤣🥴
I think what happened is that they called the different people on the call at different times and kept track of when. That's why all those beeps are in there, it's calls coming in during the conferences. They can tell who it is from that
They keep laughing like they know theyre lying
"Why you undercuttin' me??" you could say he's being... Condescending 😳
Foul language on a conference call? My HR would be having a field day with this at my company.
Bro same
I doubt they even have an HR...
You can see why this company is failing. These people are not professionals at all. A bunch of whiny kids who are probably Antifa supporters.
@@BrandonGavin_EDC I would say this statement is incorrect as these people are employed at the very least. The shock trooper black masked lines of ANTIFA are generally comprised of domestic abusers, kiddy diddlers, arsonists, and the unemployed.
MVP Unlucky true but these people are cringe AF.
I just left from being a gamestop store manager and LORD that company is wild. I literally had my old DM try getting me into his poly relationship literally the weirdest shit.
Had 5 notifications thru major stores and now I know why I didn't get a pre-order. Best Buy notification was sent to me AFTER they were already sold out !! That's enough proof of scalping to me !!!
I've had people talk behind my back before and what should be done about me but I've never had an actual meeting before
I love the fact that they're having to be "mostly" careful with what they say clearly knowing he's in the call 🤣
Take a shot every time they say "ten thousand people listening". You'd be dead in minutes. Even if it was water.
The simple reason that they even had to mock you Camelot is a victory for you!
and while I was working at GameStop I definitely added gpgs without asking all the time because they had rewards for the month for the person with the most gpgs. Just saying
