Awesome idea, but you need to introduce oil into the air intake in order to lubricate the piston/cylinder. Also, how did you close off the exhaust/intake (whichever one you were not using)?
this is a two stroke engine - not four so the piston movement closes the intake by its movement and proceeds to pressure the mix before the spark kicks in
Yes. I added them before assembling. I don't think i will need oil that much compared to when engine is actually runninng. I'm going to add them from times to time.
That’s good fun :) well done! The oil is an issue in a 2 stroke, you need the lubricity in the engine, but with a 2 stroke it will also go into the tyre. Would a 4 stroke be better here maybe?

Direction doesn't matter acctualy. But better to rotate it natural engine rotation direction.
What motor did you use?
