Khmer silk history has been recording by the Chinese silk in Guangzhou, China since the 7th century. Cambodia’s ikat is considered among the finest textiles of the world. When the King Mongkut of Siam (Thailand) came to USA in 1856, he brought the fine Cambodia’s ikat cloth as a gift for US President Franklin Pierce.

For people who never heard of, you can search google for ""thailand culture origin khmer" and look for the article on Britannica Dictionary - the world's most reputation dictionary of humankind to understand how thai siem absorbed Khmer culture, copie d and borrowed many Khmer elements from costume, architecture, dance, monachy system, Khmer scripts, etc...
Not spreading hatred just to give an information to whom has never known the history of SEA.

lmao what fake history? If anyone who is lying to the world about their history is Thailand (known as thiefland and copyland). they are the thieves who have stolen khmer culture. They copied so many khmer architecture, khmer food, khmer dresses and most of all Angkor wat. They made a replica of angkor wat in the thai royal palace and in buriram province but they still denied they didn't copy cambodia. I really pity thailand LOL

@@therealagustin724 You show that you really learn fake stories from Hunsen, you don't even know why Siam make Ankor model in Wat Pra kaew? I will tell you: The land where located Angkor wat was belong to Siam (Thai) in the past. King Rama IV want to move some part of Angkor wat to Siam (Before giving it to France), but they could not move it eventually. So they decided to make Angkor wat model instead and keep it in Wat Phra Kaew Angkor wat model It is still there for Thai people to see and remember to this day that Siem Reap was once a territory under the control of Siam. 🇹🇭 Angkor Under Thai Kmher absorbed Siam's cultures through King of Cambodia. King of Cambodia grow in Siam, Siam assigned who will be the King of Cambodia.
