- The AAA on the ship is usually deadly, but the 262 is so fast the ship barely has time to react. Still lost a main wheel fairing. The 262 is optioned up with armor plate behind the seat and in front, so its going to be a bit sluggish in comparison to its fighter configuration, but when attacking a warship, its a good idea to have some armor.

it really becomes tricky against a P-51 Mustang after bailing out the pilot will have a trick up his sleeve. He will take out the ME-262 with his 1911 in .45 ACP and bounce it all over the sky.

Any idea why the bomb is offset from centre on the 262? Seems like an odd choice
The 262 is capable of carrying two 250kg bombs. He probably choose to only take one in this load out to reduce drag and weight.
Ben Bulow nose wheel is there so hard points were added to one side.

this is not war thunder mate you can't turn fight in a propeller airplane for a long period of time unlike the jet fighter they can do it for as long as they can manage their energy

Also... Where was the one Wheel Door? When you see the underside there is a missing wheel door.
It was shot off by AAA from the two ships while he was on his bombing run.
Now its finally time for P51D i hope. We have so many late war german planes in IL2 and only one P47D...
Yeh its been EPIC so far, we have some sick planes to look forward to Mustang next - totally awesome, and Tempest, P38 Lightning, Ai B25, the Bodenplatte map too. Plus new ground vehicles and ships Id say.

Why are the contrails so over done,
yes hot exhaust causes contrails, but in IL its way over done.
Any body know why
