This is just the video I was looking for. Thanks so much for uploading! This ia a most interesting rifle as is seems to be so efficient in its management of recoil and pointability yet inefficient in its slashing of muzzle velocity. 200ft/s + is a big difference. It is a serious drawback for us who often need to take shots at extended ranges.
I personally would rather see them both forbidden for their overproced proprietary stuff. I mean, for example, Blaser R8 is great, nur overpriced by at least 3 times.
@@frechwieoskar8052 Well, overpriced is a somewhat of a stretch. Yes they are more expensive, and yes I do believe a portion of that price is due to the prestigious & meticulous German engineering they are so proud of. As well, they design EVERYTHING. Stocks, scopes, scope mounting systems(which are found on the barrel shank which is very uncommon), everything. Not to mention the level of engineering in their rifles goes far beyond what is remotely necessary. The R8 has an effective barrel/bolt change system which allows you to shoot almost all available calibers from one action without gunsmithing knowledge. The R8 uses a straight pull, collet bolt locking system. This system is such an amazing way to create bolt lock up, but is far more complex compared to 2 steel bolt lugs contacting 2 steel action lugs(like almost every other bolt action on the planet). Blaser is not a mid range price manufacturer. They make what they make and you buy it if you can. Proprietary, you better believe it. Wouldnt be German without proprietary over engineering. Overpriced, to a degree. Amazing rifles, DEFINITELY.
Blaser Copy "coking" an "silence" systems is copied. But ever, nice gun. Blaser copy from Russian "vintorez" but if we remember Blaser engenier ir russian gay...😀
What a beautiful gun/scope combo. It’s really quite as well.
