Adding LEDs to your scale model can make a huge difference to the realism and give it a really professional look. Have you tried lighting models before?
@@BOABModels yes it does and you have a good teaching manor! I wish that I could talk and explain better than what I do, but I just don't have it!! Lol
Very kind, thank you. I think you have your own style and that's great! 👍 I have found it helps me to listen back and consider how others might hear me - I've taught children with hearing aids and that affected my delivery a lot.
I'm working on a Zündapp KS750 1:9, mostly 1:9 motorcycle modela (1:12 also possible) and now I'm implementing lightas in that model, faced with a problem "how to make it look realistic", I mean, wiring, but I know I'll manage to make it. Even though I already made a BMW R75 1:9 with electric system simulation (made only wiring, no LEDs and batteries) and it looks pretty realistic like on my 1:1 motorcycles

Interesting. I'm doing some poking around for adding lights to my model airplanes. Nicely done model and demonstration of technique.
I hope it was helpful. I definitely want to get a smaller battery pack when I do this again.
Thanks for sharing. Very informative 👍
Glad you found it helpful
Great video Thomas
Cheers Justin! I didn't like some of the tutorials I found online so hopefully this can help some people.
Looks great! You used the same type of LEDs for front and rear lights? The front lights are very bright.
Thanks and yes I did. The opening for the rear lights is smaller and I tinted the lens red to make them more like tail lights.
Great video my tip for light bleed and also holding the LEDs Is Blue / White Tac
Thanks. That's another great idea, 👍
Cool xjr9
Thanks, Lamar. Don't repossess it! 😂
@@BOABModels lol
Here is a video suggestion could you do a workbench tour?
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, of course. My workbench is my kitchen table though 😂 so I will set it out like I'm modelling.
Nice tutorial 👍 👍 👍 👍
Thanks a lot! 👍 😁 🚙 🖌
Great video and tutorial brother !
Thanks a lot! I hope it can help some people! 👍
@@BOABModels I'm sure it will and you do a good job of explaining how to do it.
Thanks a lot! I guess that teaching degree has come in handy! 😂

Thanks mate! I hope you find it useful!

I have only made one bike (in 1/12) and there wasn't much space to put lights so it would be interesting to see how it's done.
@@BOABModels batteries will be places in a trunk of a side car, enough space for them there. So If you are interested you are welcome 😊
@@madera7170 What type of batteries are you using? You could probably fit those thin lithium CR 2016 or 2032 inside the fairings of a street bike
@@hhaste hello, sorry for late reply, Yokohama 3V CR 2032. Have a great day 😉
Where did you put the the bettery pack is there any space?
No space - I hid it out of the way when taking the photos. When I added lights again to a kit, I used a micro USB. Or you could use button batteries.
What is voltage of battery?
It's 2 standard AA batteries so between 1.2 and 1.5 volts I believe. Nothing exceptional.
@@BOABModels I think total voltage of 4 led is 10 v, then how they all are glowing with 2 AA battries?
