Funny back then we all listened to the radio in our car , at home, and at work . We went out to concerts and cookouts and party’s . No god dam cell phones or computers. We talked and listened to one another. The absolute best time of this now 60 year olds life . I live in today’s world with only those memories to get me thru .

I grew up in a little town on the New South Wales south coast. This was close to my favourite song. I applied for and was accepted into the Air Force as a pilot in 1987. I swore that if I passed the pilot course, which had a traditional pass rate of just 50%, I would come back to my home town, sit down at South Beach with a beer, in my RAAF uniform, with my newly awarded pilot wings, and look out over the beautiful ocean while listening to this song. I did pass. I did sit down at South Beach with a beer, looking out over the ocean listening to Cool Change, whilst contemplating what I'd achieved. I felt bloody good.

These guys are every bit as good with their harmony as Don Henley and the Eagles, maybe even better. And I am a very big fan of the Eagles. This song was on the radio when I got my driver's license in November. Right before Christmas break my parents let me miss most of the morning of school so I could drive my brother to Galveston and bring his car back. This song played 3 or r times on that trip.

I think LRB is one of the most underrated bands of the 70’s-80’s. The way they harmonized wasn’t something you hear much of these days. I kinda think of LRB as one of the first “boy bands”. Cute as hell, can sing, harmonize, and all the ladies loved them! Keep on a rockin’ Glenn.

Wow just listened to the video and sent chills up and down it was a time when I got sober and stayed sober since 1983 amen A guy named Andy refers to this song and some how it stuck with me. Thanks Andy you never know what someone says that helps you on this journey of life amen

I have often joked that every hit song that I can sing along with from the late 70s/early 80s that I don't know who it is by, is by the Little River Band. They had so many great songs across a broad swath of the musical spectrum. Great harmonies, great hooks, great lyrics. Thanks LRB for being the greatest f-ing band that nobody really appreciates enough.

Glenn Shorrock has a very remarkable voice. This Band was my favourite band in my young years, i loved this extraordinery musicians. These formative period I remember todays with a great thankfulness and melancholie, that it will be no come back. Allow me to make one more comment. Every era has its music. But for the life of me, I can't do anything with today's music. It lacks soul.
