It Follows is a pretty intense movie. Cant Wait for the remake of Salem's lot. when it hits Max. I wish one of these day. Someone will make a great movie about the black eye kids.So far the independent ones are very cheesy.

People are crying over the AI in this movie. They are missing out on a great horror film. 9/10!
Its about time my dude David Dastmalchian was the star of a film. He is a seriously underrated actor.

I can’t wait for this! I’m watching this movie, on Friday with my cousin . The movie that scared the shit out of me, was the first paranormal activity and Hereditary.

For the most part I agree with your review. Not scary, but definitely a lot of fun. David did a great job as the lead, but it was Ingrid Torelli as Lilly who I thought stole the show. She was fantastic as the possessed young girl. I think a lot of critics are overhyping this as if its the best horror movie in years. I appreciate you being real with your review and not jumping on the "its a masterpiece" train. Still, an enjoyable and campy good time. I laughed a lot and was amused throughout.

Thanks for the review. Been watching and reading a lot about it. Looking forward to seeing it. Three horror films come to mind that really creeped me out. 'Paranormal Activity' (the original), 'The Dark And The Wicked', and 'Hereditary'. Each one has a sense of dread from beginning to end especially 'The Dark And The Wicked'. After watching it I slept with my bedroom door closed and the light on.

There aren't many movies that have scared me as an adult. I suppose the last time I was truly creeped out was the first time I watched paranormal activity. It was way back when it first came out, and my wife and I had just moved into a new house. She went to bed, and I stayed up and watched it in the living room in the dark. I remember going to bed once it was over and thinking "damn... I might need to get back up and watch some cartoons or something to flush that sh!t out before I go to sleep." LoL I thoroughly enjoyed making my wife watch it the next night.
Haha oh trust me we've all been there dude, I have watched something fun and cartoony many times after finishing a truly messed up horror movie. Gotta calm the nerves a little bit before bed. Thanks for watching, JM!
First review I’ve heard of many to make the same comparison I made to the ‘VHS’ franchise. They’re so raw, unique and original. The most recent ‘VHS’ installment wasn’t the best, but it still had that ‘VHS’ it thing.
Subbed and watching a few of your videos, since you found my Twisters video :) This is one of my favorites of the year so had to hear your thoughts! I feel like I should probably check out V/H/S. I'm not super versed in the horror genre, but I know that series seems to be popular so you name-checking it made me more curious.

I am looking forward to this film, its not playing here but I will watch it streaming whenever it drops on streaming. Hereditary's last act still haunts me, it was creepy on another level.

Really want to see it, but i always say the same thing. Go crazy. Last horror movie i saw was Barbarian. Everyone said it was crazy and went off the rails. Nope.
Think what scares you sometimes is the time and the place you see the movie. Don’t Look Now and The Changeling scared me at the time. More recently, Candle Cove got under my skin. Just watched The Exorcist in the theatre and was more appreciative of what they did back then, and that it’s a good MOVIE, more than it scared me to death. That’s the one most people would list.
The Exorcist is so timeless it's not even funny, just rewatched it recently ahead of the bland sequel that came out. Let me know if you check this one out, Bill. Thanks for watching!

evil dead rise scared me lol as a spiritual aspect idk started doing the rosary after as well as a lot of research into demonology that’s been shown in films how many are real life myths making it kinda worse..
& the last VHS movie did a lot bc like it made me feel like fragile as a human.. I’d hate to be in any body mutilating accident
Evil Dead Rise definitely has its own breed of claustrophobia that comes along with it too, constantly having nowhere to hide in that apartment building. Great choice, dude!

I only really liked the twist ending, everything else was referrences from pop culture i.e. Bohemian Grove, the Skeptic (James Randi) character, fake psychics and the possesssed little girl. It was a good idie film, but nothing I hadn't seen done before and better. Basically it's a mashup of 'Network' and 'The Exorcist' using the found footage genre.
Hereditary scared me for modern horror

I thought the movie was pretty crappy tbh. The script was way too obvious and predictable. Like I felt like I knew exactly what was coming because the writing was lazy. It's a shame, this could have been really cool. The special effects were really impressive.
