Thwomp Ruins And N64 Rainbow Road There's A City Down There
Crazy how nintendo put so much detail in their game, like, you would never be able to see this in a casual playthrough, but they went the extra mile to decorate their tracks. Also I would really like you to explore Mount Wario and maybe Paris Promenade next

i love how they gave the tracks some sort of story. it’s so unnecessary but if you know it’s there it really makes the tracks even better than they already were.

Honestly, I’d love to see this as a whole series. Maybe not every track (I could see that being a lot of work) but I never knew how much detail these tracks had that are just entirely hidden normally.
Yeah, and with some tracks like Wii U Mario Circuit and perhaps Toad Circuit, what you see in-game is kinda what you get.

As someone who's been in a racing paddock, it's really cool how they managed to make a detailed yet faithful one. I'm impressed. Thanks for showing it

The buggy building collision at 8:43 is really neat. It's so close to in-bounds... I wonder if it's possible to catch a glimpse of it in vanilla?
At 10:00 - I wanna say that's a reference to Super Mario Land, but that released in 1989, not '87. But the sign says "manufactured", so maybe it's referring to when it was developed, not just when it got released?
I kinda wanna see an "ugly tracks" episode - do all the (non-booster) courses you think are boring or under-detailed, and see if there's anything cool in them we've been missing!
maybe it's Five Nights at Freddy's - between the first event in the story line (1987) and the release date of the first game (2014).

I would love to see the small town area in Mario Kart Stadium turn into a battle course.
As for tracks, I'd say Toad Harbor, Animal Crossing, Baby Park, or Mute City

Mario kart stadium has so much that you could probably make a track out of just the out of bounds areas, I love that.
Imagine a custom track in that little town section, like an alternative path like the city tracks in tour :v

This insane amount of detail is what makes me love Mario Kart 8. And it's disappointing that the Booster Pass does nothing like this.
I wouldn’t say that, most of the backgrounds are about as expansive and detailed as the base game (particularly Shroom Ridge, Paris Promenade, and Tokyo Blur), it’s literally just the textures (and sometimes modeling techniques, in order to better suit the textures) that differ in style, as many texture hacks already out demonstrate.
Never noticed all the houses in Mario Kart Stadium, or the Hotel in Water Park.
It's incredible how detailed the backgrounds are.
9:56 pretty sure that’s a reference to Super Mario Land as there was a section where you got to pilot a submarine through a side scrolling shoot em up. God the attention to detail in this is goddamn incredible.
It would be so cool to see a custom track based in the outside of Mario Kart Stadium through all the streets around the buildings and pit crew vans and stuff

A few thoughts as an F1 fan:
The things in the pit stop area you thought might be for refueling look like wheel guns to me, they use a fair bit of power so are wired in and are used for quick tire changes
The "towns" with the team buildings probably represent the "paddock". F1 teams IRL travel around with modular buildings that they can then construct at each race location. They're used to house the technical staff and data analyst type people, and for corporate hospitality
It's amazing how many details they've cammed into this map that make sense and are little references to real life motorsport

I just had an idea for this mod. You can actually use the Y button for something, that something being activating and deactivating Lakitu's Code or like activating specifically the Anti-Gravity part of his code
Baby park has A LOT of backround features, i think you should try that next

This series is super cool, I love looking at all the small details the devs put into these maps even though players were never going to be able to see them. But it does make the DLC maps feel even more disappointing lol.

I can't think of any tracks in specific I'd wanna see but I can tell you that I'd absolutely love to see you do more of these! I always wanted to see a video like this done on MK8 because the tracks are all so detail and it's saddening that we never really get to see the full detail ingame.

This really makes me wish there was more exploration to these tracks. Like imagine a game mode where the out of bounds is removed and you have to collect a bunch of coins hidden throughout the level

THOSE TEAM NAMES. At 8:59 in your first out of bounds video you read a sign with some of those same name son it, like toad mushroom powered and Luigi gusters. Maybe some hidden mariokart 8 deluxe lore? Like why would these details exist? They even have busses! It’s So interesting to me that this is a theme in those two tracks. Maybe these teams pop up again? And there’s also an entire city in the background, which is crazy

so cool! Toad's Turnpike has to be done there's a whole city beyond the boundary again and a cool little service station at the start :)
Between your other exploration videos and this one, I'm really surprised that nobody has asked you to explore 64 Rainbow Road in the comments yet. That city underneath the track still has my curiosity piqued to this day

Ok, this is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. Some of the out of bounds areas flat out look like really cool tracks- Like, if Water Park explored the rest/seating area and the hotel instead of a pretty basic road maybe I'd actually like that track. Especially that balcony part- I really, really want a hotel themed track.
The devs did not need to put this much detail in but I'm glad they did, this is actually nuts.
The stuff in the mario kart stadium reminds me of the disney Cars movie at the end when they all show up to support Lightning McQueen

this is awsome!! It's so cool how the tracks have their own kind of internal layout- like each map is its own world! I'd love to Toad Harbor or Royal Raceway- royal raceway has Peach's castle to explore so it might be more interesting. I remember seeing that one of the F-Zero tracks (i thiiiiink big blue) is like HUGE so that might be cool? Either way I'd totally watch more videos like this thanks for making it! :3c

Tried to do some research on that 1987 reference, Nintendo released all of like 2 games that year, but my guess is that it could be that's when they started developing SMW which introduced Torpedo Ted.

1:08 i always hated how the background npcs in mario kart are giant compared to the racers. Like look at the size of this toad compared to mario!
You know, I thought the weird background object scaling in the 8DX DLC tracks was a new thing, but then I saw those benches in Water Park lul
Sunshine Airport is definitely a course you should do! It looks like a similar situation to Toad Harbor, with a lot of islands in the background.

Woah, this is so dope, if I had any suggestions I’d say Bone-Dry Dunes since there’s a lot too explore, Tik Tok Clock and Ribbon Road since there both super big open areas, and especially Sunshine Airport so you could go Explore N64 Koopa Troopa Beach!
And Explore Electrodrome, Dolphin Shoals, Twisted Mansion and all of the other tracks
I'd love to see Paris Promenade and Royal Raceway get explored!
I would personally love to see some of the more expansive courses, such as N64 Yoshi's Valley or Big Blue be explored, maybe even N64 Royal Raceway and finally be able to explore the castle.

Hi mayro, i realy enjoyed this, will you make it a series? By the way, you said waluigi sea bed may be a board walk, i always thought its a wooden coaster. It could be that they didnt make a whole coaster because they knew players wouldnt see it, but you could also be right. Keep up the good work!

Nintendo tried to hide it but now we know they did remake Figure 8 Circuit from Mario Kart DS. But they just changed the design of the track to make it look different and they named it Mario Kart Stadium so that everybody will think it's a different track. But we caught them red handed.
