DI''s do this to Marine recruits to stress them out and prepare them for the reality of war or at least come as close as possible to reality since war can't really be reproduced to train. These kinds of inspectors aren't too common but my unit still prepares for these. During inspection when the DI's yell, It helps them see how well prepared the cadets are.
TrueWW2History Reality of the war is to repeatedly yell at the enemy? My country went through the war reacently and this won't prepare you for that. This seems to be mental institution preparations rather than war. This doesn't seem to upgrade physical or mental fitness. Doesn't teach you tactics, formations or weapon usage. So how exactly does it help in war or help DI's figur out how well is someone prepared? Please explain
Okay.. for one. Marines in general have a stigma that we just absolutely love to purpetuate. 2. Its an inspection... the definition of an inspection is to check the person to make sure that all aspects of their uniform, weapon system, personal hygien, and knowledge is up to date and within regulation. When I was in Army JROTC I used to rune weekly uniform inspections. So I dont think its a hard concept to grasp.

I'm sorry but it's stupid and ridiculous to me. I know it's actual thing and I've never seen bigger BS in my life.
Extrodius How is it BS? explain to me.
This isnt stupid. DI are TRAINED to speak and yell at recruits.
Please explain
god damn, the drill sergeants aren't taking anyone's shit, but they are honest though props for that
zombie crew inc. there called drill instructors
Wait this is Air Force junior rotc?
I'm wondering how many schools got the honor with distinction and got the wreath
Okay..
Their C/CMSGT ribbon rack is upside down.
This warms my heart ❤️
Only cause you weren't there. I was, it ain't that warm...but still, I appreciated it hindsight.
Why does the team commander have a medal with his ribbons? Is it different at other schools?
does it seem like the DI's head is smaller than his campaign cover?
Classic drill instructor yelling from 20 ft away scream out your face
What does the person with the clip board do.
What happened to "Port Arms" before Marching? 💀🤦🏽♀️
Taylor Hill i dont know anything about marching or commands, but this was in 2010, im pretty sure some things would have changed
It's not required to move a flight it just looks cleaner
Haha I work with one of those guys now and were about have good ol TBT this week, no one in the command knows about this video
Courey Matthews most funny military cadet
that's AFJROTC with Marines DIs, which is pretty dang interesting to me. and Army JROTC? Hooah!
Marinebigman are you in this video?
I really like the spectators who are so confused as to what they are seeing
Were there any CIvil Air Patrol cadets there?
Brennan Main yes there was he was dual enrolled in Jrotc and cap. He has the curry achievement ribbon. I believe second element leader.
Cool
Brennan Main too bad civil air patrol is retarded.
The Champ Give them some respect they are protecting this nation as well. Before you say they aren't. They are the United States Air Force Auxiliary, and the civil air patrol participated in WWII and today they are continuing to protect us when there are natural disasters, search and rescue, supporting air force trainings etc.
Why do kids in high school have a ton of medal ribbons?
0:51 wrong wrong wrong, you’re supposed to go to port arms before marching off.
No you don't. You "can" march at order arms for a few places and then be called to "port".
At the MC jrotc inspection in my school we had to say sir. When the sergeant asked us a question we had to start of with sir and end with it. If we weren't loud enough they would make us repeat it. We didn't get yelled at as long as we kept it together.
Jake Jones
How difficult is it to say “aye aye sergeant “?
Wait arent you supposed to take the rifle with your right hand?
