The last lecture of one of the best teachers in history. We’ve been blessed to be able to see his lessons.

One week before my 60th birthday, I stumbled upon Professor Sugrue’s lecture on Don Quixote, I was amazed with his knowledge and insight, as much as his awesome way of lecturing, without notes and with total ease, mastery of content, fluidity and poetic eloquence. Further more I realized I was bestowed the best birthday gift I could ever ask for and needed the most - his lectures from 30 years ago to recent years. To my great sadness and shock, Dr. Sugrue passed away a week after my birthday. I felt I am indebted to him for the rest of my life - that I received the sign from my Devine power to study and learn from his lectures and pursue a spiritual life so rich and powerful that would give new meanings to my life, and in return to contribute in my humble ways to help others. Professor, Rest in Peace. You will never be away far from us. In fact you will be loved and missed by so many and will continue your life in a different way, but enlightening many souls along their journeys. ❤❤❤

But seeing the comments, I just realised the news and am deeply saddened. Professor Sugrue's rich understanding of philosophy is incredible, his insights into Plato are unparalleled. It really is like he hopped in a time machine and listened to the dialogues first hand and is reminiscing to us about the event.
