Love it @Squirrel! Remember, that most engines have different rev limits when in neutral than when in gear, so the limits around 15:00-16:00 in the video aren't actually correct.
The cummins is limited in neutral, but it goes up to 2100 rpm in gear
The cummins has a RPM lock when its in neutral.. in gear will rev much higher. useful for building air pressure without having to play with RPMs

In ATS I am currently driving a Kenworth W800 with a Caterpillar 550 HP engine (that has no problem revving up to and over 2500 rpm's and has up to 2900 NM torque) and an 13-speed Eaton Fuller with retarder (with a very high 1st gear ratio) and I have no problem whatsoever hauling heavy 40+ tonne loads up a hill. Thanks for sharing the video. =)

Love this truck! The Cummins engine can rev higher than 1600, in gear it revs up to 2100. When the Cummins is in neutral, it limits at 1600.

Definitely need the KRIECHBAUM sound pack patch! I don't know how anyone can play this game without Kapitan Kriechbaum's sounds of glory!
Damn, this mod is *VERY* well done
Glad to see they fixed that rear axle. I had this before and the rear wheels turned same as the front and that sucked. Now I may consider driving this truck. I still love my Freightliner FLB though. :)
It is a shame that this is not an official part of the game.

the included engine sounds are all default SCS W900, there is a link for the Kriechbaum compatibility pack on the SCS forum post for this truck which will brings each engine marque unique, high quality sounds
Squirrel, I have been think that you need to do a mod review on some GTM trucks. The T-800 is my fave truck for ATS and have put more miles on it then anything else :D thank you for the review sir.

Definitely one of my favorite trucks in real life.
The Cummins won't rev past 1,600 because it's has a rev limiter in neutral it will rev higher in gear.
GTM has also done the Kenworth W900B (shorter nose compared to the W900L we have default, not as imposing but much more usable in terms of wheelbase and the truncated nose allows a bigger radiator for better reliability), the Pete 567 (Newer 579 cab with a semi-aero 379 front end, think T800 vs W900 and you'll get what I mean. my personal favorite, plenty of great options including 379, 361, and 351 throwback grille/lights), and the Australian market Kenworth T610 in left hand drive sort of US-ified spec (replaces the T609 most Aussies will be familiar with, only the short sleeper unfortunately, Kenworth AU doesn't make a long sleeper yet AFAIK), and they're also going to do the Freightliner FLB as well

Cummins rev higher than 1600.... But it has a limiter so you can`t rev it hard in neutral. When you`re in gear it will rev much higher.

Bring back trucking diaries for ats
I love the truck and I've had this mod since it's ETS 2 days. I don't like how they don't have the California Style front mirrors on it anymore or that the headache rack looks kinda crap. I feel like the team needs to do more work on the truck such as adding more dots/accessories options to the Rig as well as allowing us to use the long wheel bases with the day cab option as well. I love the truck to death but it seems like maybe a bit more work could go into it.

Realistically, if you get the wheels at 11:51, how would you inflate the rear tires? The valve stems of both wheels are on the inside.

I wish they would put a couple 'Hot Spots' on the 'Outback' bumper option for lights, and a choice of Detroit Diesel engines along with the Cat, Paccar, and Cummins choices.
But otherwise all the GTM Trucks are of outstanding quality.

In real life those steering axles automatically lift up when you put the truck in reverse. Then you are on a single axle still giving you good turning ability, but they hold less weight. So a truck with a twin screw & one that is self turning that lifts on reverse would probably not pass USA laws for heavy haul if you have that package. Of course I'm talking realism here.
You should try the Tesla Semi mod.

Every truck in game should have this standard. Those interior options are beautiful, SCS should put all GTM Truck Mods in the vanilla game!

What specifications does my computer need to run this game?
Derek Joon 4th gen i5 or i7 equipped with GTX 1050Ti and 8 gbs of ram is quite enough if you don't really care about the picture quality.
Ets2/ats can really run on anything modern
i play them both on a standard hp laptop and it works perfectly
lmao, I wouldn't recommend "anything" i5 7200U with intel 620 graphics on my laptop can barely play it on min settings. I'd guess around 40-50fps
and that's at only 720p

the one thing that makes the mid shit is its just a w900 remodeled in few places... where's the original t800 nowadays?
I do not understand why SCS doesn't have these trucks in the game, why do we need a MOD at all..?? Standard, there are also NO flat nosed trucks in the game, like the Freightliner FLB ... WHEN this is in regards to licenses, which I can somehow understand, does SCS not run the risk of getting in trouble after an independent creator introduces such a truck in the game... AFTER ALL, the truck is still in the game without a license
