Sir I attempted the exam on day 2 scored 236 overall but got 66 in quants DI appeared in start of the section. Any chance of getting a call from NM Mumbai as quant was slightly on difficult side?
Sir, In the official which I've given around 10 days back, i've scored 228. I have my nmat on dec 6 Can i reach somewhere around 245-250? Also I'm not really sure how to prepare the CR part. I hope you pick my question!
Definitely possible. The best source for the CR questions would be to look at the NMAT Official Guide and the NMAT Mastery Program. That should help build a strategy to tackle the questions. There are just a few things that you will need to keep in mind and be consistent with your thought process. Once you have that sorted, it shouldn’t be an issue.
Yeah better if you can delay it by a bit. I am not sure how much energy you will have to study on the 24th and the 25th so check once if there are further slots available.
Hello sir, I just gave the NMAT today and got a score of 245- LR(75), QA(71) and LS(99). What would be my chances of getting into NM Mumbai MBA (core).
Hi :) How many questions can one afford to get wrong per section [considering one scores 80 in all the three sections]. 9 to 10 per section OR the number varies per section?
@Point99_CAT_MBA Thanks sir :) Considering the increased difficulty [both because of LOD and time constraint], it would become very significant to straightaway mark the tougher ones with a random choice to ensure one attempts all the questions. Tough times :( Thank you for your valuable analysis.
Hi sir, can you please share what was the diffciuilty level compared to the IMS or RODHA NMAT/SNAP mocks? We know that it was definetly more diffcuilt than the offical mock.
I would like to believe around 220-225. Unless there were large gaps in your prep that you have worked upon in which case you could be pushing beyond 230.
Generally you have to ask for extra sheets. It doesn't generally hamper the flow as there will be plenty other distractions. But today was especially painful and annoying.
Why should one have to justify that they need a fresh rough sheet especially when the existing one is fully utilised? If they can’t afford to distribute them then the students should be allowed to carry theirs. You can’t be charging heavily to students to administer a test without providing the bare essential tools.
@Point99_CAT_MBA sir that probably happened because when you say it is tough then it gets into our mind that such a legend thought it to be tough then hum jaiso ka kya hoga , otherwise I do understand that it wasn't your intention to put it that way
Arre nothing like that. When I’m analysing a test I’m doing it from the perspective of an aspirant. So there’s almost no personal bias in the analysis.

Sir quants me minimum ja sakta hai 67 ke around? For nmims Mumbai
Difficult lag raha hai to be honest. Fingers crossed for this one.
Sir, the questions were from Nmat official guide? Spevially for quants and DI?
No direct lifts as such. But the trickiest questions from the OG will be close enough to the average LOD of the actual test.

Looks difficult to be honest. Don’t see the sectional cutoff going below 70
@Point99_CAT_MBA Hi sir. Any chances of normalisation or the score increasing a little bit when the exam window ends?

Hello! How was the test? What was the difficulty level?
Hi :)
How many questions can one afford to get wrong per section [considering one scores 80 in all the three sections]. 9 to 10 per section OR the number varies per section?
The number you have given seems just about right. Worst case, I would say 10-11 wrongs would still be okay.
@Point99_CAT_MBA Thanks sir :)

Haven’t seen the Rodha mocks so can’t comment. From what I understand, IMS NMAT mocks are slightly tougher compared to the actual NMAT.

Got 247 in official mock sir what should I expect having my exam on 7th nov
245ish would be my guess. If things go well then around 255 on the upside. Wish you all the best and do let me know how it goes.
How much scored bro , Can you please share some insights ?
Hey how much did you score?

I would like to believe around 220-225. Unless there were large gaps in your prep that you have worked upon in which case you could be pushing beyond 230.
how hard is it to give extra sheet?
do you have to ask for extra sheets mid exam? cause if thats the case won't it hamper with one's flow?
