    When cleaning electrical devices (tv, computer, the wall near outlets) spray the cleaner onto your cloth and THEN wipe, rather than spraying the item directly. If you spray directly on the back of tv, you could get shocked, and if spraying directly on the screen, the cleaner can get under the edges and damage the interior of the screen.
    "Every square inch" is usually an exaggeration, but in this case it's literally true! Awesome work.

    We bought a house a long time ago that the previous owner was a serious smoker and cat owner. Needless to say every surface had to be cleaned, painted and flooring replaced. We were able to buy it at a very low price because of this. There was a front hall closet that gave a blast of the past smell even as we were moving out to a bigger home 5 years later. You are a brave person to take this on. This person is blessed to have you.

    For the smell you can get an ozone machine, and turn it on each room for 30 min, after everything is clean. The only thing is that no one can be in the room when it is on, and after it turns off you have to wait for 30 min for the air to clear out, but it helps with the smell and also kills bacteria and fungus on carpets, walls, drapes etc. Great work! And great heart for helping someone with depression, it is really hard and requires lots of love and patience. I hope they can get better soon. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨✨✨✨🌟🌟🌟🍀🍀🍀🍀

    Many years ago I was a cleaning lady. I did 2 horrendous apartments. One involved a cat. The people skipped out in the middle of the night. The apartment had been newly renovated, and They totally trashed it. I extracted the carpets, once with carpet cleaner and the second time with pinesol. One day ,the lady in the front apartment brought me coffee and donuts. She said the urine smell had been leaching in to her apartment and making her sick. She was more than happy to smell the pine sol….in the end the landlord had to remove the carpeting because the cat had been using it as cat litter.

    Great job! I know they ---and especially their poor cats ---have to be immensely relieved to have such a clean environment. Cats are fastidious creatures by nature, so unless they have not been spayed/neutered or have an underlying health condition, they usually only make messes when their litter box is dirty, etc. Sadly, that's often the case because when people are too depressed to properly take care of themselves, they usually aren't doing a top job taking care of their little friends. I hope this reset helps EVERYBODY who lives in that apartment live better, happier, and more peaceful lives. You are a blessing for them all.

    • @littleblackpistol
      @littleblackpistol 2 года назад +9

      Yeah, it's a sign of some form of animal neglect when cats are spraying. They should be neutered, full stop. Not neutering is usually a sign of a useless owner, ignorant, cheap, or just filthy by nature themselves. They should have CLEAN litter boxes, full stop, no excuses, don't have animals if you're going to wimp out on their basic care because you feel sad. Take them to the vet to check they don't have urinary infections that cause urination outside their boxes. No excuses. Got zero time for people who wallow in depression and neglect dependent animals or children.

      @@littleblackpistol I have to agree. I have depression too. Sometimes the only thing dragging my rear out of bed is to take care of my cats and turtle. I won't allow them to live in filth. And wallowing doesn't make depression go away... it makes it worse.. I'm also a mental health therapist. I tell my folks to put 15 min on a timer and get to work. You will be surprised what you get done in 15. Can't do 15? Do 5 .. it builds momentum. Motivation doesn't magically appear. It builds with action.

      Perhaps you shouldn't even consider helping a potential client unless they are already in some level of treatment to understand their behaviors AND their point of origin.

Second of all,the reason that I said “not a paying job” was because she said she was hopeful because they had a job interview so I assumed presently unemployed. She also said they had no car to get to the laundromat so she washed a ton of clothes and then she and her husband bought them a washer and dryer and about $100.00 worth of parts to hook it up. I certainly could be wrong but doubt that they had the hundreds of dollars that such a cleaning job would cost.

    Oh yes, i used to clean after tenant move out, and the smoker's places were the worst. I'm talking about rivulets of brown liquid running down the walls while cleaning them. TSP for the win! Cleaned everything back to white paint and removed the smell as well. Although, I only had hardwood floors to worry about ... I can't imagine the carpets could ever be fully cleaned of smoke and cat pee, I would think they'd have to be ripped out and replaced.

    A spin mop is the best thing I've found to clean walls. On another note, as some who used to be part of a cat rescue organization, the best thing to get rid of the cat odors & stains is Nature's miracle enzymatic stain & odor remover. In a pinch or on a budget cleaning vinegar and baking soda can be really effective. Cleaning vinegar is also really good at getting rid of nicotine odor and stains because it breaks down the tar and deodorizes at the same time.

    One problem with going through the trouble to try and get those cat peed on baseboards perfect is that the cat still lives there, if you catch my drift. Kitty's just gonna keep marking those spots unless something is done to help with the behavior...ask me how I know this. (We actually rehomed a cat for this exact reason. It was heartbreaking, but my grandma's house had turned into a giant cat box and she couldn't take it anymore. It worked out so perfectly in the end though, as sad as we were. She ended up being a barn cat! She had all the space to roam around, pee wherever she wanted and she still got the loves and pets of the people there. I still really miss her though.

    Just a little tip to rid house of smoke plain ol’ cheap ammonia! We purchased a our first home knowing we’d clean and paint and we still had smoke smell! So I ran across a tip which was to put ammonia in a cup and container and sit it in the middle of the room! I kept forgetting they were there and knocking them over so I used a cup and put it in all the window sills and after changing ammonia a few times ….smoke smell gone! I used it in a car that we purchased way back when newly married an it was cheaper because of the cigarette smoke smell! I smiled inside till the deal was done and I scrubbed everything and would leave a mug of ammonia in it each night and allow it to draw out smoke smell! People even commented later …love your new to you car…it even smells new!

    Great Job! I mentioned in the comments on the last video but I will mention it again here. You can place litter boxes inside of large cardboard boxes with a U shape cut out of them this way there will be so much less kick over of litter and you are not staring at poop and gives the cats privacy also. I get a new outer cardboard box every once in a while. Must scoop daily or every other day. The question is like how often you would flush after pooping???
