Fezarri La Sal Peak always gets overlooked! Sweet spot Geo, enough good 4 bar suspension to do anything from cross country to bike park, and it's efficient and poppy at the same time! This thing's awesome, plus a great bike for the price!

Great list! I just demo'd a Hightower X01 build direct from Santa Cruz and it was outstanding. I'm currently debating between a Ripmo AF NX build and an aluminum D or R build of the Hightower. Which would you choose?
@@moandhannahtravel Yes, I do! I bought one after owning the Whyte rs-150s. The Evil is so poppy and fun to ride. I had an Evil Following before the Whyte and missed the hooligan bikes from Evil. I had to decide between SC HT and Yeti SB150. Went with SB150 since I own a SC Blur. Built up with Fox 36 grip 2, Fox transfer DP, Hope E4 brakes, Enve M60 forty wheels, XX1 cassette with mix GX/X01 parts. This bike climbs as well as my Blur with extra attitude for the descent. I can’t keep my eyes off her. Begging to be ridden.
Budget bike video next. I would say you should put the Guerilla Gravity The Smash on here. Carbon bike made here in the USA and has tons of options/customization options. Furthermore, can be transformed into any of their other bikes by purchasing a different rear. Other than that, you nailed the list.

Your spot on with the Yeti sb150 this thing rips. I live in the mountains and it climbs well and rips the descents. My wife who’s normally faster than me on my old sb5.5 can’t keep up on this bike. I had no idea how fast this would be. It’s a blast. Now I have to get one for my wife. I’m not a free rider so I couldn’t tell you about that.

The Reign 29er is a really nice bike ... It is possible I'll get one later this year. I currently have a 2018 Trance Advanced 2 which I quite enjoy and have been riding the heck out of.
i think this category should alloy 160mm bikes, and the main reason is because some 160mm are more focused in trail riding rather than enduro. (sorry for my english)
Ripmo AF? 6061 frame? You should give the Banshee Titan a look. Much stronger 7005 AL, more progressive geo, and a shock mount that doesn't put lateral stress on the shock.
I ride a 27.5- Maestro 140mm in the back. I'm 215 lbs and it perfect for me. I'd like to get a 29er with big travel, right now I'm leaning towards Giant again. BTW has anyone said you look like Tinker Juarez?

I have the 2019 model. Love it. I would like to go a frame set of a Sight or Hightower. Mainly so I can keep my sweet DVO forks. But would like to see a non-biased test from someone who isn’t selling them.
I think that if people dont see their bike in this video, then they think that you think their bike is bad. Thats why some people complain in the comments I think.
Gregory Patzelt I love it. Got it in late July of last year. I was torn between a 27.5 and 29er. The LBS suggested the 27.5+. I like the wider tires. They just work well on my local trails. The only thing I have really done to her is swap the front ring for an absoluteblack. Let me know if you have any more questions. I’m happy to help.

Tough to decide what to spend and which wheel size to get. There's just so many options out there, and when you think you've decided you find something else even better for the money. Lol.
Yeah the Commencal Meta TR 29 Signature (last year's Meta TR 29 British Edition) won trail bike of the year. Very well spec'd and such a good looking bike in the British racing green!
What needs to be done is research into why do bikes from the three largest manufactures cost more than bikes from the smaller mfg's. Especially when the big three bikes are built with in house brand components. I have my opinions as to why but lets see what you come up with as to why.

I was told when I got my Ripmo AF, that the Ripmo is 160 travel on the DVO fork and 145 on the shock. So, not sure how you are categorizing the bikes. I thought the Ripmo AF should have been on the long travel video. Oh well, it doesn’t matter, the AF is super awesome!!

Weight makes it a little more stable but a little more weight to climb with!!!
Yeah, you can definitely feel the weight. But who cares?! It really makes up for it on the way down!

Love that combo! Put it through the ringer and still can’t break it so that’s a good thing! Super supple and still stiff as well!
439 chainstay length is only for the XXL Hightower- all other sizes are 433, according to the chart in your video. (Mo is a big boy!)
Out of these, it would be between the Hightower and the Reign. But the Ripmo AF is cool too.
The Ripmo AF Coil is a strong contender for my next ride!
