Why angle the bristles to push up between the gum and the tooth? It’s a great way to damage your gumline and push bacteria between gum&tooth. The neck of the tooth/end of enamel&beginning of dentin are best not attacked.
I’ve been brushing like this since I was 8 and now my new dentist told me I’m doing it wrong and supposed to “flick” bc my way of brushing is dated. I was like I’ve never had a cavity since using the method I learned when I was 8 but dentist said it can cause my gums to recess? So now I’m left with well how do I brush now lol
Y’all need to be more specific growing up never went to dentist because no cavities blah blah. But I’ve been brushing too hard and never knew because I never had cavities or problems. Now I see receding gum lines. I’m so thankful I caught it before it got really bad.
@tomie idk why my oral b ebrush always leave stain on my right top back teeth. only that spot isn't clean and I brush it extensively at that area. so when I use my nail after brushing, there's that white stain.

@@omarsenjumaru yeah 😁I don't know why but I just brush the front then to the side then lower jaw and upper jaw then my gums carefully and gently only with water after rinsing out my teeth, then under my tongue then the part above my tongue then the tongue , and I'm not only brushing but also thinking about sth so I guess that adds up to almost ten mins I guess. But the worst part is after all that hard work the tooth paste always gets in and gives me stomachache until I eat food. 😑
Braces suck you get so used to brushing over the braces when they remove them it is very annoying because you forget how you are suppose to brush your teeth without braces
