Such a brave, strong, young man. He went through war & was taken too soon. His family must have been devastated. So glad they returned his remains home. RIP 🙏🏻

Very nice story. I’m glad he was brought back home where he belongs. That person that was seeing after his original grave sight is truly an angel.

I'm very glad the Lieutenant made it home. The great tragedy is that war was so unnecessary. It should have been settled diplomatically (I researched it during my MA work). You won't find graves like this here in Canada. For those who survived war and lived out the rest of their lives, yes but not those KIA. It's been a long standing tradition that our Armed Forces personnel are interred where they fall, and stay there. You can visit the many Canadian cemeteries in Europe.
RIP Lieutenant Loughran under a fine and splendid monument for a fine gentleman.

So many Americans have no idea of what and how our soldiers have gone through. Unless you've been one, or it was your Dad, Brother, etc, who left their home & family behind to defend our country, one can not imagine the worry & heartache when they don't come back. Or when they do.... they are being unloaded in a USA FLAG DRAPED CASKET. I'm from a family of 6+ Military generations (minimum). 😢 I have "Their Flags & pictures" proudly and sadly on my staircase wall. ❤ I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! Without all who served and still are, we would not be Free. So happy to hear this young man finally came home 🏡 R.I.P. BUDDY 💔 🙏
