Excellent review. Did a great job of covering almost all aspects of this boat (except price). Look forward to seeing future videos from you Steve!

Price will vary depending on where you buy due to shipping costs and options. This boat can be purchased around $113k well equipped (plus freight and prep). Moomba is offering a $5k discount through the boat show season and your local dealer should be offering a discount as well.

Hey! Great video! How much depth did you have for the surf wave?

Sorry we missed your comment for so long. That lake is 8'-10' deep. Running 10.2-10.5

Small crew full fuel full ballast, wakeboarder in tow i think this boat would not make 22.5mph.

The Makia is slightly larger than this boat and the 400 motor has been working fine with that boat for years. If you're running in elevation or with extra weight in the boat, the 450 would be a better option.

    About 9-9.5’

Thanks! So not enough to get the full potential right?

@@guillaume0703 correct. Most manufactures used to say it takes about 12' of water depth. With as much as the boats have changed in the last few years, I'd say it's probably more like 15' to get to the point where the bottom of the lake is no longer effecting the way the boat sits in the water when fully ballasted and in a running surf position.

@@galeysmarine wow ok! I used to run a Max in 8-9 feet of water in the Miami bay and when going over 7, the wave would just plummet… no wonder why I had to add 1500lbs of additional sacs over the 4000 stock to get a decent wave! I’m ordering a Tykon but this time in a very deep lake in France so hopefully the wave will be huge! Thanks for the info 👍

@@guillaume0703 You should have a great wave with a Tykon in deep water. If you ever end up in a shallow water situation, you'll need to slow the boat down usually anywher from half a mph to 1 mph.

Do you think the flow 3 is worth the money, I see this one has the flow 2 and the wave looks clean
