Yes, it was a scary experience. I knew that earthquakes are very common in Indonesia, but this one was quite big (those aren't that common) and it happened in the middle of the night while I was totally alone. Fortunately, nothing happened afterwards in the Kei islands.

I totally agree! Most people would say that the Philippines have the nicest islands/beaches, though, but that's because the best ones in Indonesia are not famous!
