- I've spent the past few weeks modding and tweaking my GTA San Andreas with lore friendly and faithful to the game mods to spice up my gameplay and give the game and even deeper connection to 90's culture with new clothes and vehicles! Let me know what you guys like or dislike in the comments, let's talk about it!!

SAMP is still going somewhat good. There are decent servers out there still.
I love that GTA3 inspired M16. That rate of fire was insane and made it a ridiculously powerful gun
I know I wanted to bring it back somehow, I have nerfed it to only 20 bullets though like a proper M16, so it's not a mini-minigun haha
These lore type mods are the best. I have added so many weapons and cars in SA style it's slowly looking like a definitive edition properly done lmaoo

The coloured circles around the weapons is amazing. I feel that’s the best feature of the older GTA games. I can’t believe in SA they removed it.
I like the Orange, on the ground laying weapons from GTA IV more tbh
@@siegfriedschnosel5114 Both are better than nothing at all, I prefer the VC styled ones like shown though since it fits the style a little better, and also allows you to tell what type of weapon they dropped at a glance c:

I like the new health bar, it's like Bully. It maintains the same default bar, but with another bar on top of it.

The physics look great! It also seems like the A.I. have better aim.
This seems quite tastefully done! I especially like the cars, but the M16 sound seems to be a bit outdated imo! And i would rrally love the new clothing, i hope you got some real early 90's clothing options
What mod are you using to add more weapons? I see a Micro Uzi and a silenced Micro Uzi from the dead enemies in the gun fight.
I'm actually not adding any! I have modded these weapons in over the originals, and hand tweaked the weapon.dat to fit the weapons. I do plan to add weapons in the future though!

Ah, yes, the lore friendly mods. They were very popular back in the day on SA:MP RP servers.
I love this game to death. Sa and Vc are far the best games ill ever consider going back and playing again.
Hopefully these great mods all these authors made will inspire you to keep playing homie!
It's nice to see a modlist that's faithful to the year the game is set in instead of seeing stuff from like 2012 driving around

Some of this video's are more concept arts and will crash you if you try to play the full story with them. Trust me I tried.
Didn't tried with the mods from this video though.

I did something similar to this, however I only added cars made in the style, and left most of the default ones untouched, It's beautiful, I'm a sucker for 70s and 80s cars, so I handcrafted a popgroups that had a lot of 70s cars in the hood (since it's the poorer area would have older cars) a few 80s cars on the middle class areas, and the newest 90s cars from the in the rich areas with the sport cars too.
Now looking at your game, makes me want to do a video of my own
That's what I've attempted to do here, I am also a big fan of 70's land yachts and Crack Yo Neck makes fantastic SA Styled ones!

I have installed around 50+ mods to improve my game, i renamed my game shortcut to "GTA SA Definitive Edition Lite"
Way better than defective edition

I'm currently trying to get all the mods in one big download thats got all the data ready to go with credits and stuff, be sure to stick around it should be ready in the next couple weeks!

Sometimes i wonder if the guys at R* realize what they took part in when they made this game back then. This game is nearly 20 years old and not only do people still play it, but there's a dedicated modding community constantly updating it. The same can be said for NFS Most Wanted, but that's another story
the same can be said for like 200 other games

The Sultan police car was imported in order to combat the rise the street racing in San Fierro, Look up the GTA 3 M16, and the fire rate of a Mac-10 as well. All of the sound effects were taken from other Rockstar titles of the time, and the blood splatter effect is from Vice City so yeah I would say it's pretty faithful to the series

I did some modding myself to make it look early 90s. I replaced all the cars & weapons with their real life counterparts.

Now what should the Graphics Improvement Mod do about GTA San Andreas?
All I want is a mod that boosts the poly count and characters to something like Bully for example. That's the 1 main issue with the graphics, they look low-key N64.

Nice to see a mod that tastefully adds content that matches the original style instead of trying to make it look like GTA V. It's weird installing mods that have 10000 poly cars next to PS2 era models and environments.
The updated ragdoll physics is what sold me

I can see what appears to be a Police Sultan in the video, wouldn't it be weird for the San Francisco police to use gc8 Subaru Imprezas?
San Fierro had to up their game if they wanted to compete with the tuner scene in SF ;)

These are all replacing the standard weapons, but i plan to add weapons to ammunation in the future!

Need Help, Lights are Flickering in Vinewood area at night. Shadows are playing up weird at night time around the vinewood sign and back door of Madd Dogg Crib, sort of on the path where the lights are that spirals upwards. I've installed the San Andreas 2DFX & SkyGFX mod from the guides, anybody have this problem? Thanks.

The only thing you really need is some RAM! Keeping the cars and weapons low poly like SA, keeps the size and PC stress down c:
@@kalikokyle Well I have 16 GB RAM with i9900 CPU powerd by Z390d MB and 650W PSU which provides enough energy to my RTX 3070 but still crashes with mods on. Myb it's the tweaks I need to do like you to keep them in place and without crashing
@@leonbujdos Dumb RUclips removed my comment 🤦🏻 anyways, what I was saying is: yes, your game is crashing because something in your mods is failing. And there's a certain place that silly youtube won't let me mention that will help you out with the way you mod the game, to avoid those crashes.

i have a question how many time did it take you to do all the 100 cars, i'am a game developper sadly stuck with healths problems and been doing my open world game project since 2017 stoped in 2021 because of covid and tried to comeback but now it's 2023 and i will comeback but i feel bad to have put so much time on a project that doesn"t even look good and i'll try my best to make it great but time stress me a lot.

Absolutely awesome job, man! Can I ask you how do you manage to park and save car which you've added later to the game? I've been trying to do that for ages, I've tried several mods and i've tried my hand at compiling scripts, but it just doesn't work.
Apologies for the late reply, I use Parked Car Maker from Mixmods, for the added cars, make sure you adjust the accept any id for car generator (or something close) to 1 in your fastman limit adjuster. This lets the game use added ID's as spawn generators! I hope that makes sense!

It turns out you shouldn't use single digit IDs, I started from 119 upwards and it seems to work, and I also had forgotten to remove the # sign in front of ''Car generators'' (and to make it more than 500) and ''Accept any ID for car generator'' line. Anyway, thanks a lot, wish you all the best.

How does that recoil work I’ve been trying to do realistic recoil for a while but most of the mods suck and I don’t know how to make one.
I believe the one I am using is called WeaponAutoRecoil and I'm pretty sure it's on MixMods, it comes with an adjustable ini so you can control how much recoil you want!
