Driver dead after gunshots cause crash into mail truck, police say

- A driver died after he was shot and his car crashed into a postal truck in South Memphis on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Police said several shots were fired from a black pickup truck into a Nissan before it rolled into an intersection and crashed into the mail truck. The driver was rushed to a hospital and later died, police said.
