What is the RAW format and what is it used for? The RAW format allows us to take high-quality photos and make very deep edits, impossible to do using JPG as the original capture format. We can correct very large exposure errors and also regulate the white balance after taking our photos.
Personally I take all my pictures in RAW, even the ones on vacation!
