Would love to see a longer form video for this. I struggle with organizing my ideas as a sandbox and this seems like a much better way of steering the narrative
I loved the brief explanation. Could you do a longer form video going more in depth into the different “keys” and “gates”? I have an idea for a longer term campaign, but I’m pretty much free forming everything anytime I run it. No acts, and no idea how to get the players from one place to another without railroading which is why I improv everything. I’d love to hear more concepts on what makes a key and gate and how you get different paths.
That sounds almost like a Zelda-Dungeon, but as a story 😮 The Map looked really nice Also didn't know you are writing an adventure for dc20. One more reason to be hyped 😁

noted!
@@ZipperonDisney are there any other examples or resources for designing a game this way?
Brilliant (programming) solution for new DMs doing campaign creation.

THIS. Great little video but getting a longer explanation of this, even in a series of shorts, would be amazing.

I'm pretty sure he has vids on his channel about improving your dungeon design by imitating the design philosophy of LoZ dungeons
Solid advice, and you're really good at delivering the core of what makes things work.
Are you a game designer?
I mean, people pay me to design games...
This was helpful for me. That dungeon sounds fun. But also familiar. If you agree that was helpful

holy schucks, more pls!! this is very nice. hope you can do longer content to explain it even further pls
Fantastic advice! People who don't know better would call this railroading but they're dead wrong.
Would love a full video or more reels on this topic! Seems like a brilliant and visual way to set out your adventure
Very inspiring work, love this method! Also works for dungeon crafting
DM creates the world, players create the plot
