I was laying late one night with headphones on and this song came on and damn it was powerful, damn where’d that come from, the drums and the organ sound powerful. I was born in 1968 and I grew up on hard rock then metal and sure I’ve heard a couple Beatles songs and knew of them, but never really gave them a listen too. I Was into wings and Band on the run album and liked McCartney. Anyways 2018 I finally went through the whole Beatles catalog and wow! I finally get the hype! they were the 1st and continued to write great music from their 1st album to their last. You know great writers when they have so many songs and you can say no two songs sound the same. They met up with destiny!

There’s a reason it’s not a single though. This album was an emotion filled art show, not some bite size commercially mass produced quick and cheap pop track like what you’ll find today.

You wanna pick on someone pick on Beatle Paul, a half century later and countless albums filled with uniformly bland, underwhelming "tunes" and "ditties", each and every one sugar coated with lyrical vacuity. For that sin alone you have my permission to strike down 5 of his offerings on your stripped down White Album and likely gain my respect in the process.
