    Well done, Nate!
    or should I say, "well done Frankie Boy!".
    That little swing rhythm really makes a difference, like the cherry on top of a cake. And what a sweat cake your arrangement is. Easy to understand, challenging to learn, beautiful to play! Just like all your tutorial arrangements. Thank you, again and again! And please keep up the great work!

    Hey this is super helpful, thanks man- great work! also for the ending 3 note flare- i'm pretty sure the top note is A instead of G- it's even better that way as long as you can cover that 9 note span. Thanks again!

    Nate, could you make Somethin’ Stupid by Frank and Nancy? I know it might be a lot but if you could just teach chords of it that would be a blast. It’s my favorite sinatra song and I’d really appreciate it. I’ve learned about every Beatles song you’ve put out. You’re the best. Thanks.

    Hi! I am wondering about the G7 chord in the a section and I am trying to figure out how it is a g7 chord, what makes a g7 chord so to speak. Thank you!

    • @PianowithNate
      @PianowithNate  Год назад

      Hi! The F is what makes it a G7 chord. A typical G7 chord would be G B D F...notice F is a "7th" higher than the root of the chord, G (if you just count up white keys to F...theres a little more to it than that but thats the basic idea). Now, in this case it is inverted so the F is not voiced as the highest note, as I'm playing it an octave lower. But those 4 notes heard together makes it a G7 chord even if the order is switched around. Check out this video for more on 7th chords:

    I have a question/doubt, to play Bm7b5 we should play RH- B LH- F B D being 7th chord shouldn't be an A also?

    • @PianowithNate
      @PianowithNate  10 месяцев назад

      Good catch! Since I'm not playing the A, this is technically a Bdim chord. I think my ear perceives this as Bm7b5 in context and sort of imagines the A. You can add the A there with your 2nd finger if you like. Bottom line: play it whichever way sounds best to your ear!

      @horaciodosreis6457 10 месяцев назад

      Wow! I can't believe I got it right, obviously I've learned a LOT from you. Bdim sounds better to me. Thanks!@@PianowithNate

      @@toddperry9860 I don’t claim to be a great singer, but I’ve heard from many people that having the singing as a reference and context for the piano accompaniment is helpful for them, so I include it
