Jesus could do nothing apart from the Father. He did not act on His own initiative. He limited Himself to the Father’s will.
You may ask why Jesus could do nothing of Himself: “Is not Jesus God? How can God limit Himself?” We must distinguish between the deity and humanity of Christ. Jesus made this statement from the viewpoint of His humanity.
When the Son stepped foot in a human body, He set aside the voluntary use of His incommunicable attributes as God. He limited His divine attributes so that He could function truly as a human being. The Son did the Father’s will as a genuine man. Jesus was unique in that He was truly human but also undiminished deity simultaneously. We cannot judge the deity of Christ by His humanity.
The Father and Son’s relationship was so united that Jesus did not act by Himself. He never did anything on His own authority. This is no argument against the deity of Christ, for Christ never violated consistency with the Father in His humanity.

The 1911 KJV says, “In the beginning GOD created the Heaven, and the Earth.” Translation, the Renaissance period, etc changed a lot of Scripture. In AD 363, The Council of Laodicea decided what books THEY believed should be included in the Bible.
GOD is to be worshipped ALONE; NOT Jesus. Isaiah 45:18 KJV, GOD (which also translates to LORD) says He created Heaven & Earth BY HIMSELF.
When you worship GOD the Father, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit (as the Trinity), that is a polytheistic viewpoint; the worship of multiple gods, which is blasphemous. Jesus even tells people that he is NOT TO BE WORSHIPPED (Revelation 22:9 KJV). Jesus says he is a “fellow servant” & “of thy brethren the prophets.” How is Jesus GOD when he also says at the end of the verse: “…worship GOD.” Also, Acts 2:22 says “…Jesus of Nazareth, A MAN APPROVED OF GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, WHICH GOD DID by him…” Jesus is not GOD talking about himself in third person. That’s like Jesus saying don’t worship me; worship God, but I’m God, so worship me 🤔 Doesn’t make sense. Isaiah 45:5 KJV “I am the LORD, and their is NONE ELSE, there is NO GOD BESIDE ME: I girded thee, though thou hast NOT KNOWN ME.”
So many people are missing the mark and God is saying they don’t even know Him because they give worship and praise to others; Jesus being an important & significant historical & prophetic figure, people have made into an idol.

@@backupkid2099 Allah took 6 days and rested on the 7th, since the book of Genesis is part of the all Abrahamic religions. YHWH, Allah, God are all the same entity. You can take the Torah, The Bible, and the Tanakh, they all have Genesis. It wasn't until Abraham's sons did any of these religions diverge in to their beliefs, it took Christians a while later to diverge out of Judaism. They all worship the exact same God.

There is no God without Jesus, and there is no Jesus without the Holy Spirit. You yourself are a trinity: body, mind & spirit. The father is God, the spirit is God, and Jesus is God, and there is only one God. The Bible teaches all of these things. That is where the doctrine of the Trinity comes from. The book of John was written at a time when Christians had already developed a narrative for christ, therefore making the later gospels untrustworthy historically because they were influence by said narrative.

Nobody comes to the Father but through me. I don't understand where the contraction is. God was using Jesus on Earth to do His bidding. Whatever Jesus did was from God. So if you believe Jesus, you believe God. "I and the Father are one, nobody can come to the Father but through me." It still has Jesus as His own holy entity born OF God. God is still His Father. Jesus is the bridge to the Father. He is not the Father.

When Yehsua said if you have seen the Father, you have seen me, he meant he does the will of the creator so they are one. Jesus/Yeshua is not God. He is god. Hebrew 1:7-9. Yehovah made Yeshua the ruler of the Kingdom of heaven on earth. That was the position the first Adam was supposed to hold. He sinned and "fell." Yehsua, the second Adam has reclaimed all that the first Adam lost. Through him, we too will possess power, authority, dominion and eternal life in the kingdom of heaven on earth also referred to as the Garden of Eden. God's intentions for man never changed. People who would have walked with Christ or heard Christ would have still been around during the time it was written and yet it has always been considered scripture from the moment it was written. He is to be honored! He does have the glory! He is the one and only Savior!! Our only Savior! The only thing that ever could save us and break our chains of sin! He is the SON of God and no one else can claim that. And none of that makes Him "God".

Just like the Israelites wondered in the wilderness for years before they reached their promised land so do I had to go through some tough times with horrible people just to let my pride go and understand that without God I can't do anything by my own power. Also, I couldn't repent of my sins so God had to punish me so I can understand how serious my sins are in the eyes of a Holy God, i lost my money, my job(no Christian should work that type of job I used to have street credit),lost my 'friends' but I gained other things that are worth my journey. I'm struggling to establish my own business right now but God has made a way for me it is a matter of time and I'm also looking forward to meet my wife and get married. Sorry if I can't explain it better but I'm just a human, God bless you brother

Plus once you have received Christ you can’t keep your salvation. We are sinful creatures. The good news is she doesn’t have to earn her salvation. She might have already received Christ by confessing she is a sinner which makes her a child of God. That’s great but I didn’t want her to think she has to “be” good in order not to mess that up. We can’t do that either. We have to surrender to the Holy Sprit and allow Him to live Christ’s life thru you. Does that help or did confuse you all the more. I’m sorry if I did
