Note that you should use Overload potions from NMZ to maximize exp and save money. You can also flick rapid heal on and off to reset your health regen to prevent you from going above 1hp. Overloads make it so you cant go below 51hp since they damage you for 50hp. This is much better if you have it open on another monitor but I would recommend his method with super combats if you are at work/can't check RS that often.
assuming new players are watching this as a guide, wouldnt it be useful to add the names of items on screen/name the gear so that the new players know what to search for? Searching for an image is rather difficult

Cb level 113 here and still using the fighter torso. That one is definitely one of the best ones to get, since it has the same strength bonus as the bandos chestplate.
5:40 I’d actually reccomend going and knocking out Horror from the Deep, Filling an Unholy Book and/or Book of War and using that instead of the Rune Kiteshield. You get a bit of Strength XP from the quest as well as an amazingly useful and fully replaceable offhand that you’ll be using for a long time.
I'm sure you knew this, but it's worth noting that it is possible to roll an attack "hit" but get a "0" damage roll. This makes strength also increase accuracy, particularly at lower levels. If you had 99 att/1 str, you would still hit 50% 0's on chickens (with no equipment/prayer) because even though you would roll a hit every time, you have equal chance of rolling 0 and 1 damage.
one thing to note, even if early slayer is slower, you can grind out slayer points and have the slayer helm a bit earlier and get that bad boy imbued! potentially saves time in the long run if you plan on leveling mainly with slayer anyways, 'bis mage ranged and melee helm on task', and will help tank on tasks where you would normally be wearing dog shit on your head like earmuffs xD might not be the most 'efficient' but i liked killing the lower lvl monsters for early slayer and seeing areas/monsters i normally would never fight. there is also a cheese method of getting a ton of slayer points early to unlock the helm, even off task its as good as a rune helm, and it doesn't require any specific slayer level to wear granting you the benefits of the nose peg before lvl 60 slayer, kinda pog
Should have included a warrior ring early on because they're dirt cheap and increase slash accuracy which all the best training weapons have a slash option! Only 35k at the time of posting
But why? Literally combat bracelet is like 12k, and gives better stats across the board, AND is a tp (which also exceeds lvl 20 wildy restriction allowing you to use it up to 30 iirc).
If you had money to throw around (like 5m) a regen brace+fury+brimstone ring would be like choice jewelry slots for not too much, a little more than a bond roughly, and usable from level 1 onward and useful in all combat styles not just melee

Hey, you forgot bandit camps with Guthans. I used to do that in 2008. When I was bored in class, I used to take out my ipod touch and use an application that mirrored my screen from my home computer. Never died and I only had to check in every 2 or 3 hours. Guthans used to put in the AFK work. Not sure if it does anymore, but it was easy to go from 70 to 99.
You used to be able to afk for hours at a time and nmz didn't exist then. Definitely a relic training method, but I'm sure it still works decent enough

While its true you need the bone voyage quest to get to fossil island and start fighting ammonite crabs, there are other prerequisite quests to bone voyage. Including the dig site quest and gaining "kudos", (favor) from the varrock museum.
Yeah, I would highly recommend anyone to start training their range and mage at Zulrah after 80+ though. I got 94mage and 99 range from it and it's made decent cash as well
Sarachnis Cudgel requires 65 attack, and is cheaper than Mace, while being more effective than Dragon Scimitar. It's a good In-between for training if you want to go that route.

"Easily completable" is not a lie, but getting smacked for a 10 by a fire giant on a fresh account isn't what I'd call hard nor easy, but certainly frustrating. Best route: Get 9 magic. Complete Witches house, Waterfall, Tree Gnome, Grand Tree, Fight Arena etc. Sand Crabs to base 70 stats. NMZ till 90's. Now you can actually do slayer or bossing somewhat efficiently. Slayer till 99's, or back to NMZ. Train strength before attack, before defence. Done. easy
Been challenging myself with a challenge inspired by your content and trying to use what I've been able to learn so far from your guides and making a series about it. - Also I wonder if I'll be able to use any of these combat strategies for my grind to cerb kc.
I always have done attack first on chickens or something to 5 then rest to 5 then att to 10 and rest up. I then switch to str first and balance them all out so I get upgrades about the same.
Crabclawcave is also a great place to find rockcrabs and not so many ppl. You can only go into the cave when you start the depths of despair quest(very easy)

Can't afk it hard because monsters are stronger and drain your absorption so fast. Never tried hard but I'd imagine if you'd afk 20 mins with it you'd probably did even from full absorption
@@TheUndulyNoted you certainly can AFK it. I do hard rumbles and take between 8-10 overload pots and 16-20 absorptions and never have any issues when using full Dharoks. It may not be AS afk but it’s definitely worth it for the massive increase in XP and points (which are used for a variety of things - most notably to imbue items such as the slayer helm)
I wish Jagex would add some more spots for AFK training on crabs. Fossil island is ALWAYS full it's insane. And people just literally jump in and start killing your mobs. It's so annoying to train melee in this game.
11:00 yeah but you're still not accounting for the fact you could get a combat stat to about 80-90 without giving up too much xp. So essentially use nmz to make slayer training more manageable and efficient

Why is strength more important to level up first? Other than for pking and being able to kill something before it gets to low health and heals itself? I checked the DPS calculator and higher ATK has more DPS than higher STR, at least for the typical melee setup gear with the scimitar
When you’re trying to get to 70 str and att just do the bone voyage quest to access ammonite crabs 😂 it’s worth it and you’ll be spending more time at the sand crabs then it does to complete the quest not to mention sand crabs suck and you basically have to move around a lot to kill more crabs, ammonites are slightly better xp depending on your stats/gear and are practically 100% afk

why can't nobody come up with an effective optimized table for diminishing returns on accuracy vs average damage to maximize dps? you briefly mentioned "level attack and str in tandem until level 75" why? is the soft cap for accuracy at 75 attack ?
I wish I got the slayer helm first. It's really annoying to forget one of the items, bigger and badder's proc rate is really low, and I can fairy ring to most places instead of using the slayer ring. Maybe go bigger and badder if you're taking donations from your guild but I'm honestly afraid of the thing procing, it'll get me killed at my gear level.
ah yes to get this item which gives u 1% dps increase just make sure you go on a wild goose chase for 50 hours and have 5+ extremely hard quests completed, and also spend 50m per hour
Idk what I'm doing wrong with nmz, I've watched tons of videos, followed every step exactly, and I'm never getting more than like 50k xp/hr sometimes less.
My 99 cmb stat guide is literally nmz or crabs x) 3 max cmb chars and a zerker. All maxed before any slayer really, including 99 range/pray for 2 of m Normie, hc, uim, zerker. Gotta love that afk crab life

Training combat skills through slayer is the best. Makes you money and even has some afk tasks.

NMZ is consistently better xp/hr, and you can use the time saved to get into PVMing earlier. Slayer is terrible money in comparison

Sarachis Cudgel is a great weapon at 65 atk if you don't want to get a dscim. TBH I use it for strength training now and gargoyles.

What are we supposed to do for combat from level 1 to 25? Waterfall quest requires level 25

Idk what I'm doing wrong with nmz, I've watched tons of videos, followed every step exactly, and I'm never getting more than like 50k xp/hr sometimes less.
My 99 cmb stat guide is literally nmz or crabs x) 3 max cmb chars and a zerker. All maxed before any slayer really, including 99 range/pray for 2 of m Normie, hc, uim, zerker. Gotta love that afk crab life

@@Mr.Hashira Literally bone crossbowing my ass off up to 40k/h, easy 2 weeks for 99 - same with melees really, just afked the uim/hc for 2 months at crabs as i was doing stuff on main char and ended up with 99att str def range hp before even playing
What is the benefit of using the attack and strength potions? I know they boost your level but do they give any extra EXP?
You'll hit harder and more often, thus increasing XP rates.

In the lower levels, is it best to train all 3 at once? Attack first?
This was a nice guide but I'm a crazy person and I like to train manually so I've been training on Giant Frogs I'm at 30 on all 3 Melee skills

If only it were this easy for free to play players. All those quests are members only except for the last one and it says I don’t have enough quest points. Guess I’ll just kill some goblins till lvl 40.
