I'm enjoying the game but I don't feel it is explained very well. I see some landmarks give a happiness boost, but what is happiness? I would like the game a lot better if I understood it more. I see no explanation of what the different spaces are and what they do. The first 5 times I went to the vending machine were a waste because nothing told me what I was getting from it or what the idols are for. It's very frustrating.

How do you get colored dice?

Each theme has a unique set of idols. Land on vending machine and collect idols. If you get a complete set of 5 common idols, or 3 rare idols, or 2 legendary idols, you can unlock the dice color associated with that theme.

Tap on the green up arrow to the bottom right of the screen, which will give you another 4 icons on the bottom: power cards, landmarks, themes and my board. Tap on the second icon (landmarks), purchase landmarks with gems.
