      Inbal told me about his idea, that I have to imitate an earthquake. That would be what happens at this point of the symphony.

      For me it's too flat and "ta". Not singing. Maybe try toisten to stefan schultz for me he is the best. (Sorry for my English...) :)

      It's these kinds of interpretation that give trombonists their bad names, rough sound with zero attempt at musicality.
      You should look at how Ben van Dijk do it.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I am pretty sure it's a contrabass trombone playing it. I have never seen a bass trombone that has its tubing go so far out to the bell

      It’s a german-style bass trombone. Should be Thein, Lätzsch or something simillar german manufacturer.
