Once again I put the guitar down for a while, but when ever I get inspired to pick it up again you're my go to guy for learning a new song.
Tom Petty ranks very high. Thanks again for your great teaching.
Thank you Reese - that’s really great! Shane

Great job! Very easy to understand and well played. That loop system is awesome. Ever since my grandfather passed away I was gifted his guitar and I started my journey. I’ve been using RUclips to teach me guitar on and off for almost 12 years now and this ranks one of the top lessons I’ve come across.
Super - thanks for that. Happy to have you here with us. Be sure to check out about 200 other videos on this channel. Cheers! Shane

Guitar at work works for me Shane! Love your channel and your methods

Hey Shane can you do Green River by CCR? All the good bits too? It's cold up here north of the GTA and a little Green River Bayou music would make it warmer!
Your timing is perrrfect. 👍
Love your content
I decided to try learning this song a couple of weeks ago and BAM, my favorite guitar mentor posts the vid! Thanks so much, always a great time working through these lessons.

Very nice. You are a born teacher. I think it goes from A to Asus at the end of the chorus vocal, in the “to be me” part. Excellent lesson.
Good lesson. I needed a nice easy song i could groove to. Thanks. Cheers.
Thanks for that - glad you enjoyed. Happy to have you here. Cheers! Shane
2:50 - hilarious! I love country (the good stuff from the 80's) too. Even though I know this song pretty well, I always watch your lessons and pick up something that I've missed. In this case it was the B Sus2.
Your lessons are so, so valuable for us novices and intermediate players. I always marvel at the balanced and smooth tone that your guitar delivers. It matches your playing style and technique perfectly!
A huge thank you Phil - always so fun to do these videos and to hear from people who enjoy them. My best to you! Shane

Thank you Kyla - always happy to hear from you. It’s getting cold here for sure. Ugh.
Another great lesson for a great song.
Thanks for sharing Shane, take care and stay safe.
From Charlie.
Thank you Charlie - best to you, Shane
Another great lesson. Thank you. I enjoy your focalization of the parts like “Bam” and “whack” - helps me remember the timing. Time to send you some more cash!
Vocalization not focalization
Glad to hear it’s working for you - have fun with it! Shane
Looks like fun, time to dig in. Thanks again Shane.
Hope all is going well in your world(even if those dang cupboard doors are in attack mode😉)
Waha! That’s hilarious Wally - thanks for that. Hope all is well with you - thanks for being here lad. Shane
Nice work, I'll work on Tom Petty songs any day.
Fabulous. Thanks William. Shane
What drum machine do you use?
Love the Taylor guitar. What is the model please? Can you list your pros and cons of it?
Thanks Jeff. It’s a Taylor 814CE (2019). All pros, no cons. Great guitar. Cheers,
Shane
This is a good one very easy ,I like to know what key the harmonica is in this song. Thanks Shane, I have some Canadian in my bones,My mother was from Ottawa. Cold up there.
Thank you Dalton - cold here indeed and only going to get worse as January arrives - ugh. You can use a harmonica in the key of E over the intro chords. but......the chorus would require E Mixolydian (concert key of A) Cheers, Shane
Nice turn Shane. Are those two additional wood puzzles in the background?
Thank you Johnny - yessir - I'm addicted to building these wood puzzles/models. Really cool.A gramophone and a video camera....and they actually work! Cheers to you and my best to K, Shane
The injury to your forehead is a good upcoming lesson - I fought the cabinet and the cabinet won. Wait, "law", not cabinet.
Ha! Thanks Tim! Shane
😎👍❤🖖
Thank you Richard - hope you're doing well and I always appreciate the encouragement. My best to you, Shane
Is it an A chord or an Eh chord? The Canadian chord😂😂
Ha!
This left handed feels left out.
Sorry lad - I’ll make it up to you somehow. Shane
@@GuitarAtWork I know you will Shane 🙂
