Gave my new ninja kit a proper indoor workout today. Had a large internal house clean & a medical centre inside window clean to do. A lot of glass , various sizes . The ninja gear was terrific , seriously saved me time and effort. I dont like doing inside cleans but the ninja kit was a joy to work with. Loved it 10/10
great channel in 18 and 22 inches, for less detailling I cut the rubber ( 22" soft - 18" green: internal or if not cold ) , maximum 2mm more at each side
so ive got a 30 degree and used a 5 slot green unger pole on a building yesterday totally extended like 40 feet or something and it was barely polling because the aluminum was bending almost 30 degrees.. haha. was thinking of buying a 40 degree ninja handle?.. and maybe thats what the bigger angles for? im sure a wider channel on the 40 degree handle would have been the key? in that type of situation? maybe on slot 2 even? also want the razor that has the 30 degree angle. to it.
Yeah at that hight you ideally need a carbon pole to get the rigidity. I had a 20ft aluminium unger pole and it was a good pole but heavy after a while
@@TradMan it's the switching out a mop for a squeegee that can really take a toll.. I wouldnt mind it as much with a flip or excelerator. haha. I've only water fed with the carbon fiber. but I'm sure an aluminum tbar/channel would be.. awesome! :p
Thanks for another through and honest review. I have been using the new Ettore super channel but man Pete, that clip system looks so easy and quick I think I am going to get a couple of those channels as I have always used and loved the Ninja 40degree handle. I hope Trad Man that you are getting some quality time with the kids and Trad-Wife during these tough times. I keep waiting for you to put out a mask with the Trad- Man logo. I would be proud to wear it. Thanks for these great tool reviews and can't wait for the next one. Take Care buddy!!
Say, would a ninja chanel fit the Moerman drywalker squeegee holder? I love the ninja T-bar and scraper, but I have run the liquidators because of pole work. I could use another 18-20" in hand though. Is the detailing much more?
Also whilst on Ninja gear there ergo tech scrim bag is great at keeping your behind warm/dry in the winter which is essential in the cold guys😊🌈 cheers Andrew, Stamps Cleaning Services
Best squeegee ever... After starting with Ettore brass, trying Sorbo channels and then, and then, the Ninja arrived. It is the best wide-bodied squeegee ever. Great review, Peter. Really enjoyed it.
SUBSCRIBED , but I would still like to know what Brand of Sectional ladder is in your video? Thanks. btw: I see you like the Green Monster strip washer sleeve, by far my favorite.
No bud, like most squeegees these leave detailing to do. You can cut down the detailing by using the dive bombing technique but you'll still have some suds to tidy up with your cloth 👍🏻
The excelerator handle plus the the liquidator channel has more options and gives zero detailing to do so for me still my preferred tool. For those that want a wide body squeegee though, this is the tool I would recommend 😁👍🏻
@@alexmunn36 if your in a hot climate then hard rubber is ideal. If your in a cooler climate like below 20°c, then soft rubber will glide nicely. Try the new unger green rubber, it's brilliant
@@alexmunn36 I use the razorblade red rubber from window cleaning warehouse, lasts forever. I found regular rubber it cooked the ends pretty fast. I have some of the moerman NXT-R rubber coming so gonna see how I get on with that
I've recently just got this set but having some issues with it and was wondering if you've heard anything about this. So I got the 14 inch and a 18 inch and both of them are leaving lines on the window like if the rubber has stuff on it or been cut even though I am using a brand new rubber, I don't know if it's to do with my technique because of the angle difference or what but wanted to try and ask around. Thanks.
If its the rubber that came with the squeegee then I would chuck it away and pop a new bit in. I've found rubber that comes with a new squeegee often problematic, probably how its been stored or shipped. Try some unger green power rubber its awesome 👌
Another great video Peter, which handle would u recommend the 30° or 40°, I need to sort some new handles and fancy trying this Squeegee especially for commercial work when I can get back to the commercial work. Hope you and the family are good m8 stay safe 👌👌
Hey John! How are you? All good here matey 😁🤜🏻🤛🏻 I like both handles buddy. All depends how you like to hold the handle. If you find your hand is naturally quite close to the glass when squeegee'n then go for the 40° if you prefer your hand a little further away then go for the 30°. If I had to pick out of the 2 I would go 30° but down to personal preference really
@@TradMan we all good Peter thanks, still plodding away with work just sticking to guidelines, it's just awkward with the oldies who like to come out for a natter and cant take a cuppa off them anymore 👍
@@TradMan Seasoned cleaners will always lean towards a 30* handle, just the finishing off in a deep framed window alone makes this a requirement. You can see this bad habit of dragging knuckles against wet glass from newbies when they use a 40*, I always trained my guys to get your knuckles off the glass! , tighten that wrist a bit, the 30 trains them right. back in the day handles didn't come like that we used to put the squeegee on the ground and step on the handle a bit to straighten out the bend slightly, also true on high rise work, needed flatter handles to finish off on difficult frames and angles.
Some use it for everything but some folks use large wide body channels for big panes of glass. A wide body is better for long channels as it distributes the pressure better than a slimline channel.

Does the squeegee fit in the Moerman bucket on a belt 2.0?
Unger applicator sleeves especially the ergo tech one is very very robust and good at its job 😊

I've not tried a ninja in a moerman drywalker. For me the drywalker wasn't very good quality and annoying to use
If you were to be starting out, which size would you choose for a good all around size? 14"? 18"?
Thanks!
