Watch his TD to Gronk #2 - in one of the replays the camera stays on him. You can see the moment Gronk catches it and Tom's eyes flicker for a milli-second with something, then it's gone and he's steely eyed Tom again, with his celebration meter set at a professional 4 of 10 (no jumping). It's an intentional mask for the game. A mode.
IMO this has to be Brady's best moment. Year 1 after the Pats, 40+ years old, different conference, somehow still improving, home super bowl win after beating Brees, Rogers, and Mahomes to be crowned champion........ even for a legend, that's a ridiculous set of circumstances. Qbs get all the love, but Brady is the best player I've ever seen in the NFL.
If the bucs didn’t get injuries at the wrong time, I think he would have repeated this year too. That rams team was not good and the path to winning the SB was 🍰

@@HaydenRegan mathieu deleted his tweet about what Brady said. He tried to make it look like it was something bad but NFL analyst like Michael Irvin called mathieu out and talked about how he lied. Did anyone else get tortured by that USAA commercial every 5 min? Very disappointed they skipped the back and forth jawing between Brady & Tekashi69, and the peace sign thrown at Tyreek's face after a late game incompletion
Trying to find the truth of that exchange was the only reason I watched, was skipping around to try find the right moment, thought I missed it, but no, just wasn't there.
I've lived in Tampa bay for over 30 years, this will go down as our greatest sports moment ever, Tom Brady is a Buccaneer LEGEND, and wee will always remember this. Thank you so much Tom for choosing us you will always be Tampa's GOAT.
38:04 The sportsmanship on both sides is commendable. You can tell Mahomes and Kelce are being genuine. You can also sense that both Brady and Gronkowski know what it feels like to be on the losing end of a Superbowl. Much respect.
The GOAT Tom Brady, what an athlete, unstoppable, & a heart of gold. Patrick Mahomes is younger & a great athlete, with a golden arm & a hunger to win. He is so exciting to watch. He is great & I think he is one of the best quarterbacks to play the game. This was a great game by 2 teams that continue to thrive to win. Neither team gave up. Awesome game. I love hearing what the players are saying while in the game. It makes it so much more personal & entertaining. I also like hearing the respect the players have for each other, even though they are on different teams, they still have so much respect for each other. Its heartwarming to hear & see. Awesome game!!
@@jackgower3606 why would you hate him in NE tho, he was never an arrogant type of guy, just did what he had to do and won games. It's honestly sad, you don't have to like him, but there's no need to try and discredit him.
@@niktherabbit6747 The home team gets the choice of what color jersey they wear. I think I read or heard somewhere that Brady prefers the white jersey for the SB.
Man the mics really help emphasize who the better team was. Just listen to Kelce every play he sounded winded. You could hear the extra effort he had to put in. Every time he dropped you could tell the Defense was pressing him. It is really amazing to see and hear. I will openly admit to being more of a casual fan. I've only just started watching it 7 years ago so I won't claim to be a pro, but I don't think the Cheifs have ever felt this kind of pressure. It's refreshing.
I was in Tampa that night at my friends superbowl party. We're hardcore Bucs fans and had been waiting for that ever since 2002. What a incredible game and night, I'll never forget it! Thank you Tom for finishing your incredible career in Tampa! Gooooo Bucs!!! 🔥♥️💯
I’ve watched this at least 30 times Just to hear Brady & Gronk talk about the 2 Tuddies!! Always makes me Smile. & Then the Respect & Love Gronk has for Brady❤️❤️
"We got all the answers to the test, now we just got to go have some fun." Meaning he dissected the last games film saw the problem and created the answer! Tom is the G.O.A.T.
I mean the Bucs had the answer after the first quarter against KC. It didn't change the result, but 24-10 after Tyreek Hill was contained. If you nearly lose after being up 17-0, it's clear which team is actually better.
Chiefs learn playing Tom Brady is a big difference between guys like Jimmy G, Josh Allen, and Baker Mayfield. Those guys are inexperienced and panick with blitz looks not Brady. Also a difference in playing short guys like Landry and Diggs compared to Evans and Godwin who are 6'2 guys with track star speed. Can't get away with those hugs.
If anyone doesn't know, the phone call saying "call for help!" has lore. First Shannon Sharpe did it years ago with Denver then Tyreek Hill did it earlier this season to the Bucs so it was fitting to give it right back
@@heavydps9502 Right. It made sense when Sharpe did it against the Patriots. The Patriots are represented like the USA's first military (Bluecoats) and the National Guard was being called in for support (a bit of an anachronism, but still). When you do that against any other NFL team, it loses the context of the joke (I suppose you could use it against the Saints, but mocking Katrina victims is in incredibly poor taste). Tyreek Hill just shows he's faster on foot than in his little noggin.
The family hug at the end was everything. To know you have accomplished more then most could dream of as an athlete, then to turn around and embrace the people you love the most. Tom has reached the epitome of fulfillment. What more could he ever ask for. Champion until his last breath 🏆
After Brady and Arians embraced there was a moment when Bruce just looked at Tom and was probably thinking “wow I just won the super bowl with the greatest of all time” as a pats fan I just think that’s truly special.
It’s his first season on a new team and he’s in the Super Bowl, and everyone doubted him and didn’t think he would do good this season, he also proved he doesn’t need Bill Belichick so that’s pretty awesome, Bucs definitely deserved this SB win and Respect to the Goat himself, Tom Brady

I thought the penalties were excessive at first but man from these angles these guys really were holding like crazy. No wonder sf and Cleveland were crying foul.
All hugs and no real press. Chiefs was asking the refs for the thrown flags. Even if they didn't hold you got arms around their arms and hands in their chest 5 yards past the line or scrimmage. That's illegal contact and they have been calling that since 15 years ago. Even then you allowed 146 yards rushing and 196 yards total to Jones and Fournette. Flags didn't beat you, poor play did.

31:29 Mahomes just made an unbelievable play and throw, just to watch it go through his receiver's hands and bounce off his helmet. He goes to the bench and his contemplating his life choices. Then a Chiefs sideline man comes over and puts a mask in his face.
The KC defense really wasnt the problem. Sure they could have gotten 1 or 2 more stops but they stopped the first 2 drives and 1 drive right at the endzone. Its just that you dont win the superbowl with 9 points offense
This was such a good team. It's shame if you fast forward to 2022. Even the 2021 team was better than this 2020 team. However to have been the first team to win a home superbowl. I imagine these guys celebrating and jumping and Brady saying “first time huh”?
Watch his TD to Gronk #2 - in one of the replays the camera stays on him. You can see the moment Gronk catches it and Tom's eyes flicker for a milli-second with something, then it's gone and he's steely eyed Tom again, with his celebration meter set at a professional 4 of 10 (no jumping). It's an intentional mask for the game. A mode.
Mike was so freaking happy, giving away his helmet, still not believing Tom and Gronk came to Tampa, I love it, hope he gets a gold jacket one day!

Year 1 after the Pats, 40+ years old, different conference, somehow still improving, home super bowl win after beating Brees, Rogers, and Mahomes to be crowned champion........ even for a legend, that's a ridiculous set of circumstances. @@heavydps9502 Right. It made sense when Sharpe did it against the Patriots. The Patriots are represented like the USA's first military (Bluecoats) and the National Guard was being called in for support (a bit of an anachronism, but still). Or “Why were you late?” “Oh I watched my dad win the Super Bowl again.”
or like "why are you so happy? oh my daddy just won the super bowl for the seventh time yesterday, most of any quarterback in nfl history, no big deal though."
