The emergency exit window levers are meant to allow the bottom of the window to swing away from the bus, hinged at the top. Pulling the lever while the bus, at highway speed, plays "connect the dots' with potholes on the 401 causes the whole window to fall out. Neither the driver or the teachers were pleased by this scientific discovery (maybe more science teachers should have been on school field trips...).
Well that could be problematic...
As a kid, I always thought when you pulled the lever the window would fall out. Even when I started driving activity busses, I questioned that it wouldn't fall out since the hinges are hidden. The Thomas school buses are hinged on the side and open like a door

I planned on getting a few in the future but I accidentally bought one because of the lower price. I thought it was HO scale. Now here is my N scale bus on one of my new flat cars and I can't help but notice the details so I went and ordered 2 more. I noticed that Rapido don't sell train tracks.

Great to see another fine modeler manufacture that does a very quality top of the line model bus. Yes it is certainly very detailed by far the best N Scale model bus I've seen produced. Myself I don't model in N Scale. Too small for my eyes as well. Though this video alone shows quite a superior looking product. Again best I've seen. I've 2 N Scale replica model buses from Wheels of Time a San Francisco Municipal Railway Mack 49DT. Excellent job with the video though Jeremy thank you. I'm tempted to order the SF MUNI offering! I've the HO Scale replicas from Rapido already.

@@rapidotrains Just my opinion N Scale difficult to display because of it's overall size. HO difficult enough. O or G Scale best if display. N is good though if there is lack of space.

What I would request and you are the guys to pull this off is modern day Fire Apparatus . May I suggest the FDNY? Or maybe Boston, Chicago etc. Your attention to detail would make these vehicles a hit.

That would be awesome. FDNY has been done in 2 other scales and have sold well and quickly. In very high demand. To my knowledge they haven’t been done in HO scale. Plus there seems to be a total lack of modern Fire Apparatus in the HO scale market. With your attention to detail your the guys who could make this happen. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼.

The HO bus is available in a standard non-lit version, but there's only one version of the N bus .

Licensing indeed! We forewent logos on the other schemes to keep prices down, but we felt the GO logo was too large and iconic to omit.

As long as it doesn't exceed 12v DC. Otherwise, you might end up trapped inside a TV.

IS there a formula for how many New Look buses I need to own?
Number of years in N scale multiplied by Square footage of layout divided by Year modeled minus numbers of other crummy, out of scale poorly painted, should never be put on the layout, bus models owned equals net buses needed.
53yrs x 280s.f. /1978 - 4= 3.5 buses Is that about right...?

Just wish you did the PAT bus as done in HO, I would have taken 4-5. Seems you are disappointed in the sales so a second run of these looks very unlikely
Anything is possible in the future! It may be a while off as of now, but it's likely we will do more Fishbowl buses at some point down the road.
