There are some ingredients that automatically make me interested in a skin care product: cactus, mushrooms, algae, mugwort, snail spit, and anything that has been fermented. I have no clue why these appeal so much to me, but I really enjoyed your suggestions, especially your first recommendation, an essence I had not heard of prior to this video, so I thank you. I have super dry skin as well as acne, essences and toners are my favorite skin care products, other than spf. Noticed early on that slapping on a thick cream claiming to hydrate dry skin doesn't give me the moisture I need, the essences and toners were absolutely a required item for my skin, even to get a thick moisturizer to become a useful product in my routine.
Though some dermatologist and skin fanatics say that toner and essence is not a crucial step in a skin care routine if you want to have a basic routine but I still believe that tonner and essence makes the routine better by making the next product that one applies soak in better. And also unni thank you for your recommendations 😊
I just love Essences. I have oily combination skin, but it gets a bit dehydrated in the Winter. Rather than changing my moisturiser for a heavier one (which feels horrible on my skin), I layer essences, which makes all the difference. I love the I'm From Rice toner and the Laneige Cream Skin refiner. I am currently also using the Some By Mi Propolis toner - which is just lovely.
Toners/Essences/Mists are my favorite in the routine. I know these aren't needed but I NEED them in my routine. I ❤❤❤❤ the Laneige cream skin refiner. My skin just drinks it up. I tried the mini version first and fell in love with it. The I'm From mugwort essence is amazing. I have purchased the I'm From rice toner and Dr. Ceuracle vegan kombucha tea essence to see if my skin drink those up as well.
Hey Soo, I know you mentioned Laneige cream skin refiner but Dr Ceuracle kombucha tea essence is just amazing! I’ve tried Laneige, I’m from rice toner and Thank you farmer rice toner and none of them is like that! It’s the best milky toner/essence I’ve ever tried!
@@DahliaRosegz they’re both good products but the Laneige one leaves that heavy and sticky feeling I don’t particularly appreciate. If I eere you, I’d give Dr. Ceuracle a try! 😉

Hi Soo, catching up on your videos. My mum has been hospitalised twice for about 30 days since May. I am into my 7th bottle of Isntree Green Tea toner, that's a huge deal since I have so many toners/essences to go through. I prefer the Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence, having tried I'm From and Laneige. I love it so much that I don't even want to go back to the backup I'm From that I have purchased, I don't want to try Thank You Farmer and even though I have already bought a backup, I continue to shop for an offer for the 3rd bottle. You have tempted me to try the Huxley. Between Missha and I'm From Artemisia essences, I probably prefer Missha. One of these days, I want to try Rovectin Lotus water and cream, there are always at the back of my mind, the kind of skincare that I kept hearing good reviews but never get to them. Thank you, so nice to be watching your videos again, it also means my mum is well again. And congratulations on the 300k sub milestone!
Love this video, Soo. You've given me a few products to try. My favourites so far are the Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner, the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner and the Purito Centella Unscented Toner. Oh and the Solid In Essence is exactly what I needed in my skincare routine. That one feels so good on my skin.
i instantly feel relieved when you mentioned the 1st 3 toners because i've tried them (dunno why lol). I also have back ups for Laneige Cream Skin because i like using it whenever i want to skip some steps in the morning (i'm so layzeh 😆) or i want extra hydration for my combination to dry skin. i also love the Missha Artemisia because I'm From is too expensive in my country so i searched the alternative to get a mugwort toner. It calmed my redness skin and the formula isn't too greasy and absorbed quite well. But somehow, i can't find it anywhere on my local online stores that's why i don't have any back up in my storage ☹Maybe it's due to their new packaging, idk. Also, the Cosrx Propolis, i bought the travel size and i'm glad that you put it on calming section because that toner isn't noutrishing enough for me. I need to layer it 2-3 times until i get the level hydrating that i want, lol. i think it's more suitable for combination to oily skin. I currently use Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha (love it) and Pyunkang Yul (so so, glad that i only bought the travel size) for hydrating and Acwell Licorice (love it) and Missha Vita C Plus (been using it only for 4 days lol) for exfoliating. also i have already have products that i will try after i finish all above : Blithe vital treatment 8 Nourishing Beans (i know it's late, but well 😂), Real Barrier Extreme Essence, Isntree Chestnut BHA 2% and Peerrrriiittttoooo AHA BHA Refreshing Solution. P.S. : I swear, You, Euni and Kelly Driscoll always have ways to broke my bank account, lol.
I'm finishing the COSRX Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner, (I have enjoy it), and I have the Rovectin Lotus Water calming toner in my wishlist. Thank you for the video! Very useful. Un abrazo Soo!

First of all gurl Your skin is literally glowing!!!😻😻😻 Well unnie thank you for posting such amazing contents. It's really gonna help many choose the right product for their skintype. I have been trying product recommendations from you for a while now and it works so well for me. The laneige cream skin is a must for me during winters like it literally lives up to everyone's expectations. Also the I'm from mugwort essence is my holy grail like hands down the best essence for calming my irritated and inflamed skin💋🙌 I also tried other calming and soothing products but it wasn't that satisfying as the I'm from mugwort ranges tho my skin seems to be compatible with any ingredients except for like high concentrate vit-C, propolis Or anything to do with snail's. All these ingredients just seem to irritate my skin🥺😟 Nevertheless I'm really excited to check out your other recommendations... If soo hypes about it. Its definitely worth my evey penny😆☺😘
I'm really glad I found this video, I'm always looking for alternatives to the laneige cream skin and isntree green tea toners. I'm definitely saving all of these on wishlists to try in the future!
I didn't like it at first when I used it and I thought it broke me out then I tried it again later and used less product and I am in love with it and it doesn't break me out idk if I used to much before literally u only need like a dime size amount or it was something else that broke me out but I do love it but I the Dr Cereacul kombucha cream essence more.

Amazing video Soo. I love how scents make me feel,I tried one a few months ago and it was amazing, I'm thinking of maybe adding an essence or toner to my routine tank's 😍
This video just comes in time for me. I'm a matured (51 yr old) woman with very weak damaged skin barriers ( redness & dryness on cheeks), but have oily combo skin. Can you recommend which toner & essence that are gentle to skin, but as well as, aid in hydration and anti-aging?

Hi Soo, not sure if you've already tried the IOPE bio essence, but it's a game changer. I regret not trying it sooner, but it blew my mind out of all the essences that I've tried, from SKII, Missha time revo, and all other essences out in the market. You should try it if you haven't.
Ok. You have so many toners and essences and mists. Do you apply them all in one night? Please show us how you layer these liquid form of skin treatments.

The Huxley product was new to me and it is now on my list of new toners/essences to try. I love how fermented products make my skin look and feel and I have been interested in trying a cactus product.
Ok this is massively confusing, since in another video you say to apply actievs such as vit c or retinols immediatley after cleansisng so that they absorb better, but when is the place for the essence then? do you have any essence recomendations that could be applied as the last step before the moisturizer?thank yoU!:)
Missha changed the variety of Artemisia that they used in the Calming Essence. I guess that’s one reason why they repackaged. I loved the old formulation, and I got the new one (in time for summer). Will see how it goes.
The Isntree Green Tea toner and the Manyo Heartleaf Cica serum together are my current go-to. Love Korean skincare for all the high quality, innovative, and effective ingredients it's brought us. ❤ And also a dime is a lot smaller than that 😂 Like the size of your thumbnail
Hi Soo!! Please do check out Chestnut 2% BHA clear liquid. I'm wondering if this product is sold in Korea because it has a 2% SA and it's a Korean product. I've been using this for 3 months and it has helped my skin to feel and look better! Please do let me know what you think about it.
So I don't know if this idea would interest you or anyone else, but taking sunscreen that are fantastic other than one " bad" quality such as having insane white cast ( I personally love white cast to cancel out redness and lighten my skin before adding my foundation). Spfs that have a sticky finish making it perfect at gripping makeup and allowing makeup to last longer. Powder foundation that is perfect for that trick mostly oily folks do to keep their oils at bay, the trick Queen Jackie does with powder first then Foundation. Also tinted SPFs that people complain about being to dark being lovely for ladies and gentlemen with dark skin. Sunscreen that people say is to oily that would be perfect under thick matte foundations to give it life. Liquid sunscreens that work very nicely over make-up like a quality setting spray to melt in powders or maybe to set and improve make-up longevity and is perfect for reapplication. Just turning the negatives into positives with the right application and perfect person looking for a specific application. Be nice if most of the suggestions are apt 50 with all the +es, great skin care benefits. Hope you found this idea interesting and something that would help a lot of people with different tastes. By the way, I really enjoy your videos and can't wait to get a hold of your toner pads to try and also enjoy.
Can i use laneigh cream refiner as a essence will this cream refiner will hydrates or not i only have thi questions please let me know please reply me. Eunnie please 🥺
i definitely love the laneige cream skin. It doesnt feel like you putting on anything because its so light. perfect because i work under the sun & always sweat a lot. Lotion or cream usually make my face a bit sticky & its uncomfortable
My fav essence is Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Essence for now. But I also want to try the Mugwort Essence by I'm From, I actually tried the mini size but couldn't see any difference on my skin, I just want it as an extra calming hydration step. BTW I also tried the Cosrx Propolis Toner but it was too heavy for me and The Isntree Green Tea toner was a bit drying and irritating, idk why, do you have an idea?
The isntree green tea toner didn't work for me either.... I was so underwhelmed with that one...😢 I love the imfrom mugwort essence as well as the cosrx propolis toner.... Oh boj ginseng essnce toner and cosrx purefit cica toner are also some of my fav
@@minutesofskincare399 i am normal to slightly dry skin ... Sometime back i was suffering from dehydration and it comes back sometimes depending on the weather...but i don't like products that are tooo heavy...rather i prefer layering with lighter products....i think boj ginseng and purefit cica would suit most skin types, so i hope you will love them too. Tbh tho, I love the ginseng one a bit more coz it's an overall great one ❤️ Maybe I am a bit biased about it😉
@@minutesofskincare399 ps... Since you are oily skin you can also try the one thing mugwort essence toner... For me, personal preference is imfrom mugwort essence and i think that work for most skin types but it's slightly viscous than onething mugwort one....Ot one is quite similar to the isntree green tree in looks but thankfully its actually better at calming my skin the isntree one.... i use the ot one as first essence.... If you wanna try something that provides instant hydration without any greasiness keep cool bamboo toner is so good...texture and hydration levels of cosrx cica toner is similar to that one almost.
"Like a dime...I actually have no idea how big a dime is."😆😆😆 I laughed too hard at this. Like, not because you didn't know how big a dime was (it makes complete sense that you wouldn't know that), but the way you said it was hilarious to me.😂
Great video!!! How about the Isntree's Chestnut BHA 2% Clear Liquid? Is Korea finally allowing 2% BHA over the counter? Is it comparable to PA's Liquid exfoliant?

Oohhhhhh thanks for sharing!!!! Honestly I didn’t feel a huge difference between the 2!
Ooohhhhh loool thanks for the correction👍🤣
I must try out the manyo one!!
제품 소개 페이지 너무 예쁘고 깔끔해요~ 제품나올때마다 일시정지해서 한 번 읽어보곤 해요ㅎㅎㅎ
우히히히 감사합니당😍
I am about to buy a propolis toner however I'm on the fence between the COSRX toner and the Some by Mi propolis toner. Which one would you recommend?
Oohhhhh both are great but I’d go for the cosrx one!
Have you tried Takami skin peel?
That serum changed my skin.
I don't even need funcy product anymore! I just need simple rutine to hydrate my skin.
Oohh no I haven’t actually! Mist check that out!
@@Soobeauty_official I just got your notification for prize. But I don't know how to enter. Wondered if you can help me with that.
Hi Soo!! Please do check out Chestnut 2% BHA clear liquid. I'm wondering if this product is sold in Korea because it has a 2% SA and it's a Korean product. I've been using this for 3 months and it has helped my skin to feel and look better! Please do let me know what you think about it.
Yesss I have ittt! After I use up the Paula’s choice, I’ll be using that one!
I came across this video and girl.... I like you already! Subscribed!
라네즈 랑 헤이네이쳐 둘다 써봤는데 너무 좋았어요 ㅠㅠ 다른 제품들도 시도해봐야겟어요
라네즈랑 헤이네이처는 진짜 말모말모👍👍👏👏
Plz Who is better for black points and pores, and gives freshness to the skin?
미샤의 개똥쑥 에센스 사용하고 있는데 좋아요!!!😄
미샤 개똥쑥 진짜 좋죠용👍☺️
of you have a separate essence and toner, which one should you apply first?
The Cosrx Propolis toner is one of my favourite skincare products( have combination skin type) 💖
Urgh me toooo love it so so much!
Thoughts on the de ceuracle kombucha essence?
omg Soo i love your skin so much. its glowing!
Gahh thank youuu❤️✌️
Omg girl, you shine so much! Like freeking diamond but I love it

Aww thank youu❤️❤️😚😚
YASSS just what I needed!!! Thank you Soo unnie❤
Awwww thankss for the comment😍😍
Soo do you have any thick serum like toner or essence recommendations?
Isntree toner plus is quite thick Essence toner hybrid ...the one in the blue bottle and it's really beautiful ❤️
Ohhh the tony moly mochi vegan toner or the langbelle moist natural lock-in toner! The cosrx one I mentioned in the video is a good one too
@@Soobeauty_official thank you so much 💕💕
My fav essence is Dr.
I was so underwhelmed with that one...😢
I love the imfrom mugwort essence as well as the cosrx propolis toner.... Oh boj ginseng essnce toner and cosrx purefit cica toner are also some of my fav
@@pinkeristaa I also want to try the last two you mentioned!! I'm oily so I think those will work better on my skin
@@pinkeristaa I'll check them out asap
The LANEIGE one for the winx
Hi do you know any good Rose essences? Its very hard to find....
Thank you for this video Soo! So helpful :D
I have some spot of hyperpigmentiom,,brown spot..please suggest some toner/essence for recover this situation.
Soo your skin is glowing!
Thank youuu!
Just tell me what you used?
Hi Soo!! I was wondering if you could film a video dedicated for summer skincare ! 💛
Oohh yesss I will💦🙏❤️
"Like a dime...I actually have no idea how big a dime is."😆😆😆 I laughed too hard at this. Like, not because you didn't know how big a dime was (it makes complete sense that you wouldn't know that), but the way you said it was hilarious to me.😂
hahahaha it just came out of me lol
Thanks for this 😍😍😍 I'm watching this instead of doing my homeworks due at 11: 59 midnight 😂
Bwahahahaha make sure to get enough sleep!!!
Love this video, thank you so much!
대용량 추천 해주는 영상 존버해보겠습니다 !!! 꺄아
대용량이 진짜 최고죠👏👏☺️
Have tried Paula's choice and benton aloe bha! Both which I like 👍 👌
I knowww❤️They’re great in their each way!
Great video!!! How about the Isntree's Chestnut BHA 2% Clear Liquid? Is Korea finally allowing 2% BHA over the counter? Is it comparable to PA's Liquid exfoliant?
nope! that's only for international sales! (not sold in Korea) I have it so I can't wait to try it out!
@@Soobeauty_official I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it 💕
