Ever since I put the Kraft blade into my Cameo 4 plus, it won’t cut anything unless I have 2 blades in my machine. Even if I only want to use cartridge 1. Then it says “No carriage 2 compatible setting found for this material” even though I have it set the same as cartridge 1.
I liked the video because I learned something new about the Cameo 4. However, I'd prefer to see a tutorial using only the new kraft blade. The new blade now has 3 rows of numbers and I feel this can be a little confusing for some when they see it for the first time.

I submitted an issue to customer service about not being able to get the 3 mm kraft blade to work correctly and they sent me a link to this video. Is there a newer video addressing issues with just the 3 mm kraft blade?
I don't know if you still need help, but I believe you adjust it in your software. So if your materials aren't cut with the default settings, you can adjust your blade depth in the software and when you send it to your cameo it will adjust the dept automatically.
I'm having the same problem as Geri, I have updated my software, but it doesn't show me where to set my blade, it only shows force, speed, and passes. If I click "more" it only shows the autoblade settings up to 10. help!
I am looking at both of these craft cutters and trying to choose the best one for my teachers to use at school. I have no experience with either. Can anyone connect to these and use them? You stated that the software was free to download. Is there a limit to how many people can download and use the same machine? Do I need one computer dedicated to being connected to the machine? TIA!
I am not seeing the extra lines for my rotary blade the lines turned blue but not the extra lines. I have updated my software and my firmware as far as i can tell is updated I use a mac Any suggestions
Any idea what the adjustments should be to cut a 2mm/80 point thick chipboard? I've tried so much and the blade just gets stuck in the material. Idk if it's not enough force, or too much... I start with a blade depth of 7, Force 4, Speed 3, 2 passes. I increase the blade depth by 2 with each repetition, but after blade depth 11, it's random when the blade gets stuck in the material, making the whole machine sound horrible, and since the pause button is a joke, I can't keep trying to cut the material that was the reason I bought the machine in the first place. Do you have a correct setting to go through the material? I've made probably like 50 attepts already and I havent succeeded a single time yet

I am trying to cut a felt flower with the rotary blade in tool 2 and all my settings in carriage 2 are correct but my project outline doesn't change to blue and a pop up window tells me : Incompatible material setting in Carriage 1. Do you know why it's not recognizing carriage 2? .......After hours of trying to get it working I discovered you have to click on each part of design ( a grey box will surround it,) then click the rotary cut in the carriage 2. It then turns blue but it has way to many unnecessary outside cuts. I tried cutting but it was so slow. It took 4 minutes to cut one pedal of my flower. I cancelled the job. This machine can be so frustrating. . Can anyone help me?
I want to cut craft foam 3mm, the machine detects that i have the craft blade 3mm i put the settings for cutting but it wants me to put the material in the first tool, so it doesn't allow me to cut, please help cause i live in Greece and its already hard to learn how to work with it, thanks
Ihm trying to cut some leather, but in the "send" window my object has a lot of tiny cuts, which I can't see in the design window. Looks like your cuts in 3:05 close to the object you want to cut, but mine are in the object as well :-(((. How can I remove them?
Can't even cut foam sheets all the way through with a blade 2... not sure if you'll ever answer this in why and how to do this properly...I see year old questions and no answers 😢

Has anyone been able to do these cuts without having the circular run offs, I want to be able to deboss so I don’t want To use the shape that has been cut, to use the panel outside the cut edge. Is the blade able to lift, turn and cut in a different direction from the place it lifted. Hope this makes sense

Try unchecking the blade 1 in the cut settings. Even take that blade 1 out. Make sure your mat is not in the way when the blade goes to set length. If your mat is in the way it will stay on zero

I've watched another video that said it doesn't, however if you don't mind rounded corners then you can avoid the kraft cut setting
you can disable the smart cut in the material settings

i put blade 2 in and set everything but the cutter still uses blade 1 even when it's set on blade 2. can you possibly help me please?
