I have a couple of update ideas after the main ones have arrived for the Quest version and they are pretty new for both the Quest and PCVR versions. First is a graphics setting: in the Quest version, the game’s graphics aren’t terrible but they could use some improvement. With a graphics setting, you can choose the graphic to your likings such as high graphics pretty decent performance, or high performance but at the cost of graphics, etc. Another update in this game is a map(not map stations). New people in this game can easily be lost in this game so it’s important to have something to navigate themselves quickly without much trouble. In my opinion, the map stations are unreliable so I think a map that is accessible via menu (by pressing the menu button on your controller) will be an absolute breeze for new and experienced players. My final idea for a new update is tombs. These tombs, contain valuable loot and crafting material but the catch is that most of them are booby-trapped. These traps are very obvious so something like a suspicious rope and spike traps or spike pits, trigger them and they won’t be a problem. These are just my thoughts on completely new updates in this game for both Quest and PCVR versions.
Also, at 16:48, he says that you can use a rock on a stick and flint, in my experience using a flint and another flint for carpentry is easier to use as you don't have to put your hand further back to hammer the flint, while just using a flint to hit a flint makes it easier. EDIT: yes i know this is late, i dont care
I would reccomend getting a stick and putting the piece of flint on the side, and putting a grass on top. This means when you go into dark caves you will always have a free hand to do whatever. And you can also get another piece of flint and hit the torch/pickaxe combo to light it, easier than dropping your torch and getting two peices of flint.
Can't wait for this game! I've been waiting for a game on quest that I could sink a crud ton of time into! Great video btw!! Keep doing what you're doing!
You should do a vid highlighting the usefulness of the bug net. It's super helpful for gathering and collect items on the floor without bending down, a lifesaver when my back bag lost in a river, and a makeshift spotlight when you put a lantern in it

Thanks for creating all these videos. They're super helpful! I do have a question ... If I create a private server, and store things in communal chests/slots/bubbles, and let's say I (the server creator) die, do the items in the communal chests/slots/bubbles remain or go away?
They should remain with no problems. The server is running independently if I am not mistaken which is how other players can login without you requiring to be on the server.
I want my character in this game to be a ferocious knight armed with a long sword made of Valyan, a guard made of sliver, and maybe a two-handed metal handle. My character is all about killing danger up close rather than using a bow and arrow. He is also quiet and vows to protect his fellow townsfolk.
You could technically go mining with the lowest tier but it would be much, much more difficult. You'd want stronger damage metals for higher tier ores to make it easier on yourself for sure. For woodcutting, this is a must.
I was really enjoying this game and spent hours getting a red iron dagger (or short sword idk) and this guy just kills me because he is “bored” then says “I’ll protect your stuff” I go back and my dagger is missing, he gave it to his friend and said if his friend gave me it back he’d kill us both and take everything.

The pouches are something you simply create by having 2 or more items in a bubble and holding "grip" over that bubble. At this point, it will bring out all items stacked in a pouch vs. one individual piece of that item.
It did seem to track my friends hands in game with the quest, however she couldn't move without having her sticks. It does support full hand tracking with the Valve Controllers however.
So if you remove a skill that you have that is at the bottom of the tree, will it take away all the skills that you have connected to that? Or how does the removing work?
Yes, if that skill aligns with the ones above then they would need to be equipped to have that "top" skill. However, you can change these up at any time.
Just rip a page off of a book and put the page in the frame. Where you place the book doesnt matter because lighting the candle will put it back in it's original spot
Can’t recall the exact name but it’s part of some village consort album or something I have the individual track downloaded you can discord me if you’d like it.
