Me and my wife have our own server together. It’s just to two of us and we’re enjoying it quite a bit. However that does also mean we’re learning EVERYTHING on our own.
@@kil296ler Yeah I have my oldest at least half of the time, but usually more since her mother does work quite a bit. We definitely chose not to fight over her like children ourselves and do what was best for her. Not so much the case on the other one so I totally get it! Hey dude, great videos! Think you’re definitely my go to person when it comes to looking up how to do something in this game. The in game camera makes videos much more cinematic and I appreciate the effort put in to each video. That being said I also have some constructive criticism. I know videos take a lot of effort to make and the content you decide to create is always yours to choose. However, I feel with the full release of this game on quest there’s a huge amount of new players that are looking for quick concise videos to figure out a single thing or so then hop back in game. Not saying there’s no merit to a long overview of something, in fact I think for another video you should go over most the useful recipes (with time stamps) for carpentry, as well as your opinion on them and what you use most. But for the quick videos that show a specific thing, I think would hugely benefit to show the path in first person. Some examples of videos could be: where to find copper, how to use a lantern, best ways to get leather/straps/buckles This is all my opinion and by all means tell me to step back if you disagree. I’m just thinking about what I would like to watch (and hopefully most other players) when we are trying to figure something out. Thanks for all the hard work so far and you’ve earned my sub and I look forward to what else you make in the future!
Thanks a lot for the comment, Zach! Means a ton to get feedback. I hope you watch or have watched Vol. 1-3 as we went over plenty of smaller, quicker tips that were more "back to back" and informative of things such as where to find copper, basic tools and so on :) I look forward to bringing more out there for everyone and I'm blessed to have people like you who truly enjoy it. I also have some other really cool VR gameplay on the channel so don't shy away from other titles when we visit them.
@@MrWhitty2000 yep I absolutely did that’s why this video popped up on my feed 👍 I guess there’s 2 approaches to tips/tutorial. One, the way you have done with overviews that gives a lot of information all in one video. This approach is preferable when an absolute beginner (as I was) just wanted to learn a bunch of things since I didn’t know anything. The other is as I suggested. Since I (and a good portion of the community perhaps) have a general understanding of the game and the basic mechanics, more focused content helps us find a video of exactly what we’re searching for without having to skip around. Time stamps are kind of the best of both worlds. You can do the overview of a lot of things as you have done in your previous videos, but if I’m looking for a specific thing I can skip to it. The sickle is something that just breaks off of crystal in the mines so they can’t be crafted and I believe they are reworking armor back into the game at a later time but for now there isn’t any.

Hey man just had a question about Blacksmithing, so I just made the recycle machine and threw the cauldron that I took apart into it but I did it for a good five minutes and nothing happened am I missing something?

You can have up to 8 of them at once and re-arrange them any time you see fit to "spec" into a particular set of skills for a certain task before going back to the way you had them.
