adam didn't say anything about the nudes because it involved trisha and he wanted to get permission to come out with it. he kept trying to reach out to her to warn her and let her know what colleen was doing behind her back but trisha ignored him and kept working with colleen. it wasn't until johnny silvestri's tweet (who swoop also did a doc on) showing trisha's actual nudes and the chats with colleen that adam came out with it to voice his experience. i definitely don't trust youtube to do shit about it because these people bring in so much $$$ for them. look at sssniperwolf. she doxxed someone with a fraction of her following and got a slap on the wrist. youtube is vile.

Trisha made a joke of herself. She is 300 pounds, and took photos of herself, saying she is a sex worker. Trisha created the humor. You can't be mad, because Colleen found it funny. The idea of a 300 pound hooker is funny, but, sad too. Trish is a strange one.
I may be naive (not a lawyer or cop) but criminal, legal, and/or civil action should be taken. It is a crime to send P*rn to minors and the evidence points to the fact she did engage in this multiple times. This is not about cancel culture or even accountability culture as defined by social media or online public opinion, but I think it is about investigations and punitive consequences. Consequences for Colleen, James Charles, and sadly the list continues. Paige thank you for always putting a huge spotlight on the most difficult stories.
I can tell you for a fact that "distributing porn to minors" is indeed a federal crime, I do work at a jail....
Sniperwolf is a big one too. Adam lives in the UK, and Colleen got the lawyer plenty of big names hired for their misdeed with children and trafficking. So I doubt the cops want to do anything in fear they’ll lose. Since she has so much money, and sadly that’s what speaks in this world. Not actual justice. Hence why all of these people are still on YT and still doing disgusting and criminal things.

The fact that she does have $, is white, and woman does have a major impact on whether or not she faces any consequences. What if she were a man? A POC? Very deferent reactions and consequences would be had which is a very messed up part of the society we actively live in. Those are the things that need to be considered and actively addressed in these situations, what can we do as individuals and a society if things are going to change? adam has said that he never planned on making a public allegation regarding trisha's nudes because he knew that would be humiliating for trisha and wanted to tell her in private and get her permission first (but she would block/ignore him when he'd try to). it's not that he thought it wasn't as serious as getting sent the lingerie, it's that the receipts he had to prove colleen groomed and manipulated him should've been enough to prove how dangerous she is. sending the lingerie, trauma dumping, exploiting his free labor, asking him about his favorite sex positions, inciting her fans to bully and harass and dox him etc etc were the things adam could personally speak to and if he used anyone else's name he got their consent first. i think the fact that johnny the clout chaser is the one that dropped the bombshell news really says something. he didn't care about how it would make trisha feel to find out her business partner sent her nudes to minors as a cruel joke about her appearance, at the same time as millions of strangers.
RUclips should remove her Miranda channel since she wont. Same with Netflix and whatever company published her books

I think the best way she can "change going foward" and show us how much she's changed is by staying off the internet and the youtubies. She comes back and makes 4 vids ins 4 days is a good ol' "ya'll forget yet? bc i need a paycheck" right during prime-time youtube $ tells us where her true intentions are. She either has no care or concern for her victims and care or concern for the consequences of her actions, or she is completely disconnected and driving the dululu toxic gossip train (which seems to be closer to the truth.)
The best way we can "support Colleen" is by not going to her page, do not hate watch her videos, or fan watch her videos, do not leave comments (the more clicks, the more encouragement and $, less clicks also sends a clear message of disapproval and hits her right in the $bag.) If we are really that curious (NGL, i'm curious) we can 2nd-hand watch through these reaction channels. A clear united message of "we havn't forgotten, your behavior/actions is beyond unacceptable, you no longer have access to your previous fan-base, and income as a result, these are the natural consequences of your actions, ya' lucky your not in jail, ga'bye" may be the only way she "changes moving foward."
I realize I'm writing a novel in the comments but Colleen makes me rage... When she was like "i had to go take care of my kids." All I could think was "well, who was taking care of your kids before and now? And what about other peoples kids? The kids you exposed to a live audience at one of your shows? The kids you vented about your husband to? the kids you sent underwear to in the mail? the kids you sent porn to? and what if someone did to your kids what you did to others?"

Grooming isnt always about sex. Its quite often about power. Individuals use it even businesses use it to a point. The world needs to wake up. They say it is happening more often now than it did in the 70s and 80s ( when i was growing up) heck even the 90s. I don't believe it is happening more, i believe it is talked about more now. This hit the nail on the head. It’s unfortunately not enough to just say we won’t forget what these people did and leave it at that, because unfortunately through the passage of time and the way their controversial image becomes diluted, we inevitably do forget the nitty gritty details. We need voices like yours on social media - intelligent, passionate, and well researched - to remind us of just how bad it all has been, despite us possibly remembering the broader strokes. I think it's more damning that she had several children's hands down her pants on stage "for a bit" and also that she hasn't said a word on her brother texting minors in a sexual way, in a sexually pressuring way when she gave him the audience to do so.
I think Adam didn't highlight the Trisha's nųdes being sent in his original video because he didn't want to highlight that in trying to be accepted by Coleen he would (as a child) laugh along with the jokes she made about Trisha's body.

Nah not really. My stepdad from when i was a child walked free despite evidence and that was physical abuse mind you. I know many many many others who has been let down by society and the justice system like this now so it is more common than most people think. It is apparently ok in society to be a predator. I have to correct you with Chris Hanson. A majority of the guys caught did face jail time and had to register as sex offenders. Only a few walked free. From season 2 and onwards on To Catch a Predator, Chris Hanson & the watchdog group did worked with the police (which is how most of these guys faced justice)

TCAP had just over 20 convictions over 7 seasons, but it is true that a large percentage didn't get convicted. There were legal issues of entrapment and tainted evidence along with other scandals with the show's history.

This was an incredible video Paige. You voiced everything I have been feeling since I got the notification last saturday night that she had uploaded a new vlog. I have been begging you to cover her for about a year because I have seen her do so much shit on this platform before everything came out in June and I took great pleasure watching her entire online presence crumble but I knew it would only be a matter of time till she came back. I suspected she would be back in time to do a fundraiser for her birthday and I was correct about that - she announced it in one of the vlogs in the last week that she is planning to do another fundraiser and the Fundly link is in her description box. She's said she plans to do the fundraiser livestream next month, probably once she has dedicated a bit more time to building up her presence again so that it isnt a complete flop.
But I can promise you one thing right here, right now..... 'I won't forget about what Colleen Ballinger did'. Not ever.

She made a child stick his hand down her pants in a live show, and in another instance she spread another child’s legs open in front of an audience full of adults. We talk a lot about the abuse she inflicted through online spaces and we should, but not enough about these actions that are literally taken on camera. These children aren’t actors on a professional set with a therapist, and even if they were SPREADING A CHILD’S LEGS OPEN would still be horrible. “But-but-their parents-“ if a child was being physically abused by their parents, would that make it okay for someone else to beat them too? The fact that she actually used this as an excuse is beyond disgusting, as if neglectful parents just don’t exist and she’s not an equally horrible person for mistreating children this way.

Thank you for voicing on your platform the loss of innocence of these babies. I can't imagine how I'd react if my baby had their innocence stolen. And yes I'm aware of the fact that they are 18+ now, they are still babies in my eyes when they are all young enough to be my children by many years. Innocence lost can never be regained.

She can deny it all she wants and insist nothing is true about her. But just because she thinks so, does not mean it's not true. Kind of like how people think that just because they didn't see something happen, that it happened. It's called DELUSIONAL DENIAL. Colleen, nobody is going to agree with you, who are sane and compassionate in the victims' experiences. The most disappointing thing about all this is that eventually she'll stop being talked about. She's calculating and manipulative and nothing has changed and the world needs to be reminded of it at a consistent pace.
With the way RUclips handles these situations, we can all assume predators are safe on this platform unfortunately

I can’t agree more with everything you’re saying about Colleen- it’s insane that she’s even allowed back on the platform. The harm she’s caused young people is disgraceful and unacceptable. I cannot wrap my mind around her being 36 with children!!!! However these “vigilante” groups have actually helped take down many predators/groomers. Also it hasn’t been a few arrests… Chris Hansen alone has helped in dozens of arrests, some of these groups have done over a hundred. While I don’t agree with the approach of some of these groups, they are doing good work. Including the group that exposed the RUclipsr. RUclips should take that same energy up with Colleen and James!
